Hoping for a sunny, daytime show for both of these bands. I have seen Wavves twice (Local 506 in Chapel Hill and House of Blues in Myrtle Beach) and Best Coast once (Hopscotch Fest in Raleigh) and they are really fun live. I almost guarantee they will be playing back to back also.

Saw them both at the 40 Watt, great show. Wavves was crazy, super-high energy, insane crowd, etc. Best Coast was really chill which was a nice way to come down from Wavves. I actually liked Best Coast more live than I do on record.

I really hope they don't play Thursday since I won't get there until Friday. They're definitely pretty high up on my list of bands to see at Roo this year. Unfortunately for me, they both seem like such great Thursday night acts. I don't necessarily see them playing one after another, perhaps with a few bands in between, like Sleigh Bells or School of Seven Bells. I didn't realize those two had similar names, they were just the first two that came to mind as reasonable acts for that slot

Not sure I get all the Wavves hype. What's the difference between them and all the shitty pop-punk bands I listened to in high school that I grew out of when I was 18? I'd like to check out Best Coast if there are no conflicts though.
Oh, and Bethany is maybe a 7 and Zooey is a solid 8 for sure.
Not sure what the obsession with the drummer is. Best Coast's lead singer is far more attractive. Anyways, I've heard great things about both band's live performances.
I'm not really into either of them, but I'm looking forward to seeing Best Coast- from what I've been told they have a really fun show. Barring no conflicts I'll certainly be at Best Coast and probably Wavves too.
See, I feel the exact opposite. I think Wavves is really fun and energetic and I think Best Coast is just boring and annoying.
Best Coast = Worst live band I have ever seen in my life and I love their debut album.
Wavves = Most energetic show ive seen in a while
While I don't think that Best Coast is the worst live band, I do think that Wavves completely blows them out of the water. Wavves is really great live, especially now with the backing members from Jay Reatard.
