First post, first Roo, so forgive me if these questions have been answered somewhere on here, but there's no way I'm reading eleventy billion pages of posts... anyway,
1. Do they always announce the comedy at a later date? Anyone know when to expect that? 2. How many total additions can we reasonably expect? I think someone said there should be like 120 total bands, and I'm counting 80-something. Will there really be 30-40 more added? Seems like a lot...
1. The last two years comedy has been announced in march. I would expect the same this year. As far as acts go I'm not really sure. You could check out one of the comedy threads on here to see what people are thinking.
2. There will be a good number of additions made to the lineup. Most of the additions will be comedy, DJs and cafe acts. Cafe acts are lesser known acts that play on pretty small stages. I would expect about 10-15 stage acts to be added but that is just an estimate.

There will be about 10 - 15 major additions 10 - 15 comedians 40 - 45 cafe acts (smaller bands/artists) 5 - 10 silent disco DJs & if they bring back the Lunar Stage (or anything similar to it), there will be about 10-20 more DJs.
Usually 1st round additions are about mid march Comics are added late March/early April (Maybe) 2nd round additions in April Cafe acts are Mid/Late April Silent Disco & other DJs are late April/Early May Schedule is mid/late May
I'm just excited at the return of Superjam!! Let alone the lineup. Dr. John and Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys are going to put on one heck of a jam. These guys got all the rock influences covered(blues,r&b,jazz). That show is gonna jump alot of genres, I'm excited. The Gypsy Revue tent has also caught my eye. A collaboration of Gogol with Beats Antique or Devotchka would be very cool.

thank you to R and mwattack.. I love having more small things to get excited over before the actual festival. Just makes all the build up that much more epic.
Im not convinced of that. i could definitely see them putting SCI on the which at some point during his set because i feel like a lot of the people who dont want to see him would be all over SCI

Yes. I like that idea. Definitely rather see SCI than Eminem.

With Eminem at the number one spot on the lineup I'm gonna say no one plays opposite him. Maybe Cafe Acts like durin' years past, but nothin' big. At least not until like 30-45 minutes before his set is scheduled to end I bet.
::edit
Also after a few long, but good days at work. And really lookin' at this lineup, I am pretty quackin' stoked! This is lookin' like a good year. Bring on the additions of artists, comedy, and everythin' else.
I know they were 3rd on the list in 09 and not 1st, but I could see a similar situation as Beasties with Em. Maybe not though, because he's obviously bigger.

What happens if Lil Wayne is playing late night? In fact, I hope he does and I hope they pit Dr. John & Original Meters against him or Opeth or Bootsy Collins. That'll work perfectly in my favor. But I can see Lil Wayne going on the Which after Eminem or Arcade Fire.

I'm thinking Primus and SCI get which stage late nights each night.
^^ You're most likely right. I see String Cheese Incident getting that friday late night spot at 1130-12.Considering their jam band reputation they will have the spot like Bonnaroo vets Flaming Lips and Phil Lesh. Hopefully My Morning Jacket gets another epic and long late night set.

I'm not positive but I Think Primus has Friday listed on their tour dates.

Overall, I think it's a good lineup. My problem with it is many of the acts I would want to see, I've already seen. Will be out of the country, though, so it doesn't matter

I'm pretty sure Insider said that My Morning Jacket would be Arcade Fire's pre-headliner on the main stage. Late night would be sweet though.
