Buffalo Springfield MMJ SCI Robert Plant Primus Dr John Alison Krauss Superjam Gogol Gregg Allman Global Gypsy Punk Warren Haynes OCMS Bootsy Collins Del McCoury Mavis Staples Bela Fleck Bruce Hornsby Loretta Lynn Wanda Jackson Abigail Washburn STS9 The Strokes
What about Arcade Fire? You don't want to see them? They're going to be headlining.
I don't believe this. There isn't ONE trip-hop act. NOT ONE. And where's the opera? Bonnaroo has lost its roots, I can't believe they didn't have any classical Philharmonics on here.
WORST LINEUP EVER! EVERY SINGLE GENRE OF MUSIC THAT I LIKE ISN'T REPRESENTED!
I'm pissed that they're missing the "Comedian fronting a Bluegrass Band" this year. Way to follow up on Steve Martin bonnaroo. tsk tsk.
i dont see the problem with the electronica. did bassnectar not melt faces last year? is girl talk not a crazy party? bonnaroo has seen MMJ 3 times now, WSP 4 (5?), Neil once.... and no one is complaining about that. different year, different show (except WSP).

I usually dig your sarcastic brand of humor, but expecting ONE reggae band to be at Bonnaroo is not off base. Fail.
That's true, I really didn't think about that. So your saying you can get pretty close to the stages at roo? Last year midday at Lolla I walked right up to Mavis Staples and was able to say hello. Also, what is the Double-Gate system?
Yeah, that's midday. I tried to get down front for the Strokes. Just to get to the soundboard was horrible. The double-gate system is where they section off the pit and clear it out after each act. So you usually only have to wait one act prior to get down front for an act. It's how I got really close for Springsteen in 09.
I had some really nice success last year at Lolla coming at the stage from the extreme side, and gradually squirming to the center. Was able to get around the sixth row from from center for the Strokes and even closer for Phoenix.

additions
why do people fail to realize there will be additions?
So far - without any research - just by glancing over the list - I see tons of conflicts in my future:
The Black Keys Buffalo Springfield Robert Plant & Band of Joy Mumford & Sons The Strokes The Decemberists Ray Lamontagne Bassnectar Iron & Wine Girl Talk Primus Dr. John and The Original Meters performing Desitively Bonnaroo Alison Krauss & Union Station Pretty Lights Florence + the Machine SuperJam with Dan Auerbach and Dr. John Explosions In The Sky STS9 Gogol Bordello Gregg Allman Old Crow Medicine Show Bootsy Collins & the Funk University Grace Potter & The Nocturnals The Del McCoury Band & the Preservation Hall Jazz Band Mavis Staples Béla Fleck and the Flecktones Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers Loretta Lynn Cold War Kids Devotchka Wanda Jackson Neon Trees Portugal. The Man Sleigh Bells !!! Abigail Washburn
36 - that's not a bad start at all - the only one on there that is a total must see - will skip anything conflicting with it is Primus. Any other conflicts will be worked out. Have I mentioned that I'm really happy with this line up?

It's more to the point that regardless of what's on the lineup, people are going to complain. Not everybody is going to be happy all the time.
I am happy about the lineup. but the best daytime which stage shows have always been reggae. something about baking, literally and figuratively in the hot sun just fits Roo.

Agree 100% Hopefully they'll be something like that in the additions.

Not worrying but where is Alt-Rock Bands??
Not trying to complain or have a negative vibe here, just adding in my 2cents!
Also, I'd like to see Massive Attack and Cee-lo on the line-up but I'm assuming I've already got enough conflicts as is which is what makes this year's Roo solid excitement!!

One thing I'd like to point out is the overwhelming amount of positive outlooks on the lineup. Some are upset but most people seem to think it's a solid lineup
