I prefer CSNY over Buffalo as well but that doesn't mean that Buffalo isn't great. Buffalo Springfield Again is definitely their best album. There are some absolute dynamite tracks on that album, check out Broken Arrow, Mr. Soul, Hung Upside Down, Bluebird, and pretty much all of that album. Buffalo Springfield is a good album too, and Last Time Around isn't bad
I apologize if this has been already posted, but how long were the sets that the band did at the Bridge School Benefit? Each night was the same exact setlist, so its neat to get a feel of what they may play.
I think it's somewhat disrespectful to not put these guys on the What Stage. What the hell?
i see the point, but also, unless im mistaken, this is the first time an act has ever been given an unopposed which stage act. they did it so they wouldnt conflict them with another name, to basically have 2 headliners for sat night.
Whiz Kahlifa on What, but Buffalo Springfield on Which? WTF are they smoking!?
Wiz is playing while other highly anticipated acts are (Portugal. The Man, Mumford and Sons, Man Man) on the big stage without much shade in the middle of a hot day and Buffalo Springfield are pretty much unopposed in the evening.

I agree. It's not fair to compare a mid-day What timeslot with a prime time Which spot. However, it's pointless to put BS unopposed on a stage that doesn't have screens and has very limited lawn space. Last year we were so far from FLIPS that we gave up and went over to Black Keys, which was a great choice. They were fantastic. But, this year there is no choice. I hope suspendedzen's comment above is prophetic. I'd like to see them rework the Which stage to accommodate more people and better traffic flow. If not, there will be 20-30,000 people pretty upset with their view.
a completely unopposed (main five stages) which stage act? sounds pretty crowded to say the very least. but lets admit it, although we all love the idea of buffalo springfield, johnny popculture wont be at this show. still should be quacking crowded as quack
They aren't quite unopposed. There is a band in the music lounge, which (unless its being moved) is REALLY FUCKING CLOSE to the Which Stage. Sound competition galore fore anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck in the back for BS.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

Yeah, I hadn't really thought about it, but having Buffalo Springfield on the Which unopposed, without screens, is going to be waaaaaay crowded and tough to see them unless you go to Mumford and stay there.
Is this the first time they've had a show on Which unopposed?

That's why I'm gonna go to Mumford and just stay there

Probably a smart move, Airline. I just can't bring myself to miss !!! and The Black Keys, two bands that I'm dying to see, to see a band that I absolutely detest (Mumford) just to get a good spot for BS. If it was The Strokes into BS or something, it'd probably be different and I'd sacrifice those two bands for a good spot at both. Just can't do it for Mumford, though.
I'm already planning to leave !!! at 7:55 to head to Keys and leave Keys at 9:00-9:15 to try for a half-decent spot at BS. We'll see.
