War amongst champions of their respective kingdoms. They could both Bore holes in just about anything. It would take divine intervention to reunite the band after they split.

2. Tick 36 up, 7 down buy tick mugs, tshirts and magnets Tick: A pest. A problematic insect. Also refered to as a BoRe. The tick/BoRe easily gets under your skin causing irritation. The Tick/BoRe seems to be found in most parts of the world. It is an annoyance to nearly every known creature. It's only known natural enemy is 2 species found within the UK. They are commonly refered to as the "Lion1" and "Lion2". The tick/BoRe immediatly runs/retreats at the sight of these creatures. The only known cure for the tick/BoRe is the use of the "ignore" feature.
snoopig, I think you just found a vital piece of information. It's gotta be something to do with a tick. The tick is smaller than a breadbox, can give you a headache and will bore a hole. My guess : DEERTICK!!! Can anyone make the rest of the clue fit to Deertick?

Really strange definition, and the fact that it has so many thumbs up is weird. I tried googling for it with no results. I really think it might be Deer Tick but can't relate the rest... I'm almost positive you have found what Gary wants us to see snoopig, we just need to make sense of it!
Okay so let's assume that's right..."from one tick/BoRe to another" doesn't make any more sense. Unless we've been had, it really sounds like an internet joke to me. It's sounds to me like it's referring to board trolls and maybe this is a the red herring.
Not sure about the divine intervention segment, but deer tick's debut album was War Elephant. "A war rages amongst champions" could refer to that album as elephants are the largest land animal, thus being champions in the size arena. Also War Elephants have been used in some of the most historically well known battles (they were used by India against the Persian Empire, Alexander the Great, and the Egyptians).
Flighttest, it could mean the tick is going from one host to another. It makes too much sense. Did you read the definition? It says BoRe, capitalized exactly like that. Weird thing is the definition was posted like two years ago.
