Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Seen Girl Talk twice. Both times it was fun as hell, but last time at Bonnaroo it was sooooo crowded. I'd probably rather see Mr. Gillis in a club.
AGREED. His last show at ROO was wayyyyyy too crowded.. and I had to leave. He has outgrown the tents at roo. Not too sure how well he would be on a stage (Lunar Stage?).. but i can't see seeing him in a tent at roo.. no matter how much I dig his new album.
ps. im new to the twitter thing. @romrealist.
i dig this mass twitter.. get the artists to say something to you!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I say throw GT on What in the afternoon. Worked when I saw em at All Points West a few years back. That way it doesnt take up a late night spot, theres enough room for a big crowd, and there will be plenty of other options for people who aren't into it.

It happened when he was at All Points West in 08 and I'm pretty sure he did the same at Lollapalooza last year. Theres no written rule that GT must play after the sun goes down. Pretty sure he could draw a crowd big enough for What, but if he doesn't Which sounds reasonable.

I will skip GT and do not care if they are on during the day though not a very good daytime act per se. I have a feeling there will be another clusterquack on the late night scene this year. It had progressivly been getting harder to choose amongst all of the late night goodness each year.

I think that they bigger problem would be the lethargic sun-drenched crowd followed by people collapsing from exhaustion. I think having him play during the day is a safety issue.
I'd equate a Girl Talk concert in the light to hooking up in a club... you may think they're hot and all that, but with the lights on, that may not be the case sometimes.

Can someone Twitter Feist I just hit up her facebook page but I refuse to set up a Twitter account because I am an Amish/Scientologist hybrid. Space aliens and farming are my new found religion. Primitive in Doctrine Progressive in Practice is my dichotomy. But would really enjoy her @ the farm.

How should we go about questioning the ever reclusive hard to talk to Maynard James Keenan? TOOL, APC, or PUSCIFER I would be so down for at the farm. PUSCIFER especially since they made fun of Bonnaroo in the album artwork of "V IS FOR VAGINA"

So where did they make fun of Bonnaroo in the "V for Vagina" cd cover?
It is part of the cardboard flap where the new ager hippy people are being disinfected by the EPA toxic suit people look at the tie-dye t-shirt it says Bonnaroo on it. After they are disinfected the tie-dye Bonnaroo shirt is folded and shoved into the carry on bag but Bonnaroo is clearly still visible. And it is weird to that album came out in like the month of November? Right after Tool played Bonnaroo. So that dirty hippy family cartoon was drawn and placed into CD packaging within a few months of the TOOL show. I have always taken this to be either a big thumbs up of thumbs down from Maynard. And him being who he is you know we made a big impression for him to give any sort of shoutout. Maybe it was the winery next to Bonnaroo? Anyway have always wanted to hear the story of how "WE" wound up with a mention by a person who usually takes a lot to get a mention from. An interesting tidbit of info for those of us that were there that year. I am and will always be a huge fan of anything Maynard does adn the fact that I was in the audience that night always make me happy when I bust out the Puscifer CD. Perhaps someone can pull up the artwork or scan it in and put it on here for otheres to see? I am not proficent at such things unfortunantly. But we are a community and we try and help each other. So maybe it just takes a keen eye to bring the razorlike scalpel of our collective conciousnous down on this problem I have and correct it. This mystery has been upon me since 2007 and I would liek alittle light shed upon it.

Two posts above: cool.
Above post: I don't know. I've never done that before. But I imagine it's a lot quicker nowadays with all the technology we have, I would say, ohhh about 24-48 hours or so depending on the artist of course.
Wayne Coyne confirmed to someone via DM on Twitter that the Flaming Lips are playing Hangout Fest. Just more proof that the Twitter bombardment can reap benefits.
