But all were on that horrendous Paste line up. So things could go south really fast.
Still praying for Radiohead and/or Daft Punk. Although I read today that Daft Punk were offered Coachella but turned it down because "the group was simply not ready from a production standpoint to return to live performance." So that makes me think they are out.
Maybe the person/people who did that "horrendous Paste lineup" knew more than we're givin' em credit for. Just sayin'
I posted that the other day, what if they ripped it down because AC was like 'WTF!!!!!"...so that was the blue poster or the one with REM?
I saw Girl Talk once, and while it was fun, I surely have no desire to see it again. I think most people are tiring of Girl Talk, universally.
Thankfully, I am one of about 6.89 billion people on the planet who have NOT experienced Girl Talk live, so I'll be sweatin' my weave out for that show.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Hope Flying Lotus is there too.
FlyLo and DJ Shadow are what I'm hoping for, at this point in time.

these are my top 2 electronic late night hopes too. besides richard d james/boards of canada, as i know they're not going to happen.
also i thought the same thing as ITM when i saw girl talk confirmed. "well, that means less people at the LN i choose to see"
Was that for Nickel Creek or just Sara Watkins solo? I don't know much about her so I dont even know if she does solo stuff.
solo. and its awesome. i'm in love with her. she released a self-titled album back in 09 i think, produced by john paul jones, her brother sean sometimes plays in the live band (i've seen her 3 times solo and he played with her twice, but not last year at forecastle fest) and it seems they usually play as a trio (when sean's with her) but at forecastle it was just a duo. not sure who played with her. the first two times i saw her she was joined by sebastian steinberg on bass (he played in soul coughing).
lot of guests on the cd like gillian welch, david rawlings, benmont tech (heartbreakers keyboardist), pete thomas (elvis costello's drummer), tim o' brien, ronnie mccoury and even chris thile. i'm not sure but i think john paul jones played a bit on it.
its got a lot of great cover songs on it too, mostly old timey stuff, not sure of all of them like jimmie rodgers "any old time", john hartford's "long hot summer day" but my favorite is her cover of tom waits "pony".
she likes to throw in some other covers in her live show like radiohead's "no surprises" (also awesome) and some morrissey song, though i'm not very familiar with him.
as far as non-pop country music goes at bonnaroo, personally i think she's one of the best they can get.
you can read more about what she's like live at www.cincygroove.com/?q=node/1219 which is my show review of the first time i saw her.

What about Justice? or Paul Van Dyk? or Aphex Twin? or Chemical Brothers? We all know about Daft Punk.
richard d. james is aphex twin first off... and no, id rather have flying lotus or dj shadow than any of those that you listed (besides DP, which isnt happening). personal preference brah
i would pretty much bank on Skrillex playing Roo during a late night set, possibly a Thur night closer though. he is festival whoring this year, already booked for Ultra, Wakarusa, and Coachella.
His twitter is @skrillex His tour manager is @the_roadhog
