What was your biggest regret(s) of missing a set? Either due to schedule conflicts with something else, waiting for a better spot at another show, hanging out in the campground, or escaping the oppressive weather.
For me, it'd have to be Isis and then Mumford and Sons on Saturday. Black Keys on Friday night's conflict of death.
At least Isis and the Keys are coming to Boston soon, so I can make up for it.
All of the Saturday Late Nights. I was way too exhausted after Jay Z and had to pass out so I didnt get to see any of the shows I wanted. I was really excited for DeadMau5 and Bisco but my body was just telling me that enough was enough.
Bisco. I was way too tired and only stayed for a couple songs before I was fighting to stay awake and had no energy to dance. How was it? They sounded awesome at the beginning.

Tori Amos & Conan O'Brien...Tori I have never seen before but Claypool was on and I had a killer spot up front so decided to ride it out. I knew going in that Conan would not be seen by me in a tent anyways.

The Black Keys and The National With the Black Keys I had been dying to see The Flaming Lips so I had a mind set of just seeing FLips but it sounds like they put on an amazing performance! And plus I'm seeing them in Cleveland in July for their headlining show so that will make up missing them at Bonnaroo
The National, my friend had wanted to see She & Him so I waited to watch them since my friend had only interest in them and like 4 other bands so I watched them and then went over to Tenacious D, but I should have stopped by The National...UGH!
We all tried to tell you. What an amazing show it was.
As for regrets? I mean I missed the Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons, but I was at The Melvins show instead so it wasn't all that bad. I missed the Jeff Beck show, but I was at the John Prine show instead.
The only semi-regret was that John Butler Trio was scheduled against Harper Simon and MMW at the Sonic Stage, but both those shows were fantastic.
I had to miss most of the Flips because i could not miss Bassnectar, esp after Wayne kept saying that tonight was the first full night of the festival and there was no excuse not to be up all night going crazy. He inspired me to leave his show and dance all night.
I also wish i could have seen Mumford and Sons, but the Avetts were great so i'm content with my choice.

I missed Daryl Hall/Chromeo because I was getting a spot on the rail for LCD Soundsystem. I can't help but feel I made the wrong choice because 1) Bassnectar was really not that good and 2) I didn't have hardly any dancing room on the rail.
On the other hand, being so close that I could literally touch Bassnectar's subwoofers was pretty awesome and having a perfect view of all of LCD Soundsystem dancing around and having a blast on stage was just incredible.
Jay Z. I chose dan Deacon and Deadmau5. I wanted to be really close for Deadmau5, and was able to do that regardless of how long I waited.
Exactly this. Though I came for Dan Deacon as well.
It just sucks knowing that Jay-Z's performance is going down in headliner history while Dan Deacon's set (though I had an amazing time and they rocked me hard) can probably be seen next time he tours--in a smaller venue at that.
After the Black Keys and Kid Cudi, I went back to camp instead of heading over to LCD, which I really regret.
Saturday night, I missed Dan Deacon and Deadmau5. I decided to sit down under a tree while Dan did his sound check, but I ended up laying down and falling asleep. I'm not sure how I managed to actually stay asleep while he played, but I woke up a few minutes before Deadmau5 started and chose to just head back to my tent.
Dave Rawlings Machine, but it was worth it for Isis. Chromeo as well
Don't think Deacon will be touring with the ensemble much in the future
Yeah, I think seeing Dan Deacon instead of Jay-Z IMO was a better trade off. I understand Jay-Z is considered the best rapper in all the land and all that. Its just I don't care for his music. Sorry.
John Prine. I also missed the end of Mumford & Sons, which I'm hating because of the collab with Dave Rawlings. I so wished I had stayed. My only complaint with Mumford was that their setlist had some lulls in it early on. They were absolutely perfect playing the up-tempo stuff from Sigh No More, but it was hot and I kinda got distracted when they played the slower stuff.

ooh wow.
LCD Soundsystem... I saw the first couple of songs but I was just SOOO tired, my legs would hardly hold me up so I had to leave.
Deadmau5- I wanted to see a few minutes of Gwar to see what everyone was talking about... I ended up staying for the whole set b/c I was... ahhh.... altered and I just couldn't bring myself to leave the intensity. ( I was right in front of one of the speakers so it was vibrating my whole body lol)
Jay-Z- I had planned on seeing at least the last half of his set, but some people came by our camp site and we lost track of time.
Circa Survive- It was just TOO hot to go!! My friend went and he said it was the best show he saw all weekend. Ugh, wish I would have just sucked up the heat and went.. but I would have missed out on a lot of latenight probably.

can't believe i left jeff beck's set, but i had to go meet up with my wife and get to stevie wonder can't believe i missed clutch, one of my favorite bands, but i was too tired to go see them. also which i had been able to see a little bit of the gwar spectacle
Saturday night. I left Stevie and went back to camp - the plan was to change into dry clothes, take a quick nap and head back to see half of Jay-Z and the rest of late night. I woke up to hearing Jay-Z playing and was too tired and groggy and dunzo to get back into Centeroo. I keep kicking and kicking myself over that.
But I did have an amazing Friday late night. Saw all I wanted to see and we had the raincover off our tent and lay down as the sun was rising.
