It'd be awesome if it was Neil Hamburger. Kinda makes sense. He was at big ears and Jelloland could be like a nursing home, Neil is very old, but he definitely wasn't there if he was at Big Ears.
Probably wrong but I figure I should start contributing in some way.

Two things I think of re: Jelloland: Smuckers and Jell-o
Jell-O's history: "Pearle B. Wait, a carpenter and cough medicine manufacturer from LeRoy, New York, developed a fruit-flavored version of Cooper’s gelatin. His wife, May Davis Wait, named it JELL-O®. The first flavors were: strawberry, raspberry, orange and lemon."
Smuckers is from a family/community farm(s) in Orrville, OH
As of 2008, LeRoy, New York, is still known as the home of Jell-O and has the only Jell-O Museum in the world
Mormon Corridor - also known as the "Jell-O Belt". The region has also been identified as the "Jell-O Belt", referring to the 20th century Mormon cultural stereotype that Mormons have an affinity for Jell-O
In support of this image, Jell-O was designated as Utah's official state snack food in 2001.When drafting the resolution, the Utah Legislature gave many reasons to recognize Jell-O, including that Utah had been the highest per capita consumer of Jell-O for many years, and how citizens of Utah had rallied to "Take Back the Title" after Des Moines, Iowa exceeded Utah in Jell-O consumption in 1999.[

So maybe a band that was at Big Ears, but has never played in Utah?

I just wanted to quote this for the Neil Hamburger love.
haha just noticed that this band is on that list i posted. one of the worst bands i ever saw live. they opened for sleepytime gorilla museum once. totally off topic, sorry.

I thought maybe jelloland could be referring to jello biafra who is from colorado but I looked over this past year's lineups for major festivals in CO and there is virtually no overlap so seems a dead end. Still if anyone can think of another way to work off jello biafra I don't think it is a bad interpretation.
