I just checked out Jackal's June 8 video of the farm and man does it look dry. The grass is pretty brown looking. A little pre-roo rain probably wouldn't hurt.

Typical June weather for the TN. For those coming to roo that are not too use to humidity get ready for the worse humidity you have seen after the afternoon showers.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
The high 80's are pretty good for this time of year. But high humidity trumps everything. Even makes it sticky and hard to sleep at night. The humidity is pretty low now (NE breeze) I just hope the it isn't doesn't get too oppresive when the wind direction changes.
I just went through the weather sections of three Chattanooga TV stations and a Chattanooga newspaper, plus the Accuweather and Weather Channel forecasts. Smashing together all their forecasts into one general idea of what the weekend will be like:
Sunny with some clouds to cloudy with some sun most of the weekend.
No higher than a 30% chance of rain on any given day with most festival days having a 10-20% chance of rain. It is possible that we will go the whole weekend without rain but more likely we will see some short periods of rain fri/sat/sun, likely in the afternoon. Should not be a monsoon, but some rain is likely.
Lows at night will be in the mid-60s all weekend. Highs during the day should not exceed 90 and more likely in the mid to high 80s. Will feel hotter in the field and direct sunlight, but overall this is pretty good.
Pollen count was down this weekend but if it stays dry expect it to be high for the festival.
Given the dates and sources of the forecasts, I am thinking it is going to be perfect weather for Bonnaroo. Pretty warm but not too outrageously hot (I am betting on highs around 87 most days), nice cool nights but not cold (lows about 65), just a little bit of rain to help keep the dust and pollen down (short afternoon rains, but may be intense and brief), and a nice mix of sunshine and clouds.

Now that's what I call a great post....karma for that. I will agree that I think we are in for good weather. Perfect time of year for the world's best field party!

you there!
Great post! Looking forward to the next update. Am i the only one who relies souly on Inforoo for the heads up on the Tennessee forecast?
I'm going to hope that we get the weather.com forecast. The chance of rain has gone down to 10-20% for each day....If you ask me, I think that this is the best weather that bonnaroo has ever had, if the forecast is true. ;D
