Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've long felt that it was bad karma to listen to artists on the day of a show (or, for a festival, over the trip). Bad things have happened in the past. Anyways, I'm waiting for my 2009 non-Roo artist playlist to load and we have a couple of audio books and cds with us, too.
you inforoo folks are and your superstitions are funny.. tobacco will be on full blast along with some ott and bluetech and a variety of other awesome electronic driving music. i remember in 07 i had the Chronic turned all the way up while waiting in line, needless to say we got a lot of thumbs ups from the folks who get out and walk...im beginning to shake from excitement...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

got a large bonnaroo playlist loaded up with various artists that are playing this year. currently downloading phish @ camden, already have 2 jones beach shows and all the hamptons. should be good to go for my 6-6 1/2 hours!
I'm taking my younger brother who isn't really as up on the music at Bonnaroo as me. Here's the track list (form memory so I may have a wrong name) of at least one CD we'll be rockin out to on our trip to TN tomorrow morning.
1. Phish (studio album version) - Free 2. Snoop Dogg - Next Episode 3. David Bryne - Take me to The River 4. Cage the Elephant - No Rest For the Wicked 5. Zach Brown Band - Highway 20 Ride 6. Gov't Mule - Bank of the Deepend 7. Moe. - Captian America 8. Girl Talk - 9. MGMT - Time to Pretend 10. Bruce Springstien - Born To Run 12. Jenny Lewis - The Next Messiah 13. MURS - Forgot the Name 14. Al Green - Love and Happines 15. Phish (6/22/97) - Run Like an Antelope
I've got to say, Led Zeppelin's When the Levee Breaks is THE best cruisin' tune. The opening bit with the harmonica makes me feel like I'm in a movie or something.
It's against me and my friends' superstition to listen to any band that will be at roo. So bands that set the roo mood we'll be jammin to are: Allman Brothers MMJ Flaming Lips Radiohead Grateful Dead Les Claypool Widespread Panic James Brown Neil Young Tortoise The Roots The Black Keys Ween Kings of Leon Robert Randolph among others..
