Looks like you all had a great record store day. Jealous of y'all who got to go to third man. Karen Elson was top of my list and my shop didn't get one.
Did get: Both White Stripes 7"s REM 7"s 13th Floor elevators green 7" Howe Gelb Blue 7" Nirvana Hormoaning Intl. Submarine Band (feat. Gram Parsons) sundazed reissue of 1st single and 1st LP (1000 copies) Gorillaz - The Fall Mumford & Sons/Laura Marling 10" Beach Boys - Good Vibrations/Heroes & Villians double 78rpm 10" Kill Rock Stars LP Comp (Nirvana, Courtney Love, Bikini Kill, Melvins etc) Big Star III Test Pressing box (beautiful set. Did NOT get a real Test Pressing)
Also ordered the Heady Nuggs colored vinyl boxset. Can't wait for that one. It will look great next to my Ween colored vinyl box.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

7"- The Civil Wars - Dance Me to the End of Love Mike Gordon - Moss Remixes Beady Eye - Box Set (eBay was calling. Limited to 2000, those Brits love their Oasis)
I really want the following (if anyone has extras lemme know)- ZZ Top/Mastodon split Phish - Two Soundchecks Deftones - Covers BTBAM - Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I stole this pic from someone online because I just worked 22 hours in a row and I'm too lazy to take one of my own, but this is what I got. I'm so silly but I so love colored/clear vinyl.

Question, vinyl experts. Say I rush to the Third Man RRS as soon as Centeroo opens day one. How can I assure these purchases survive for 4 days in the Tennessee heat? I searched nearly this entire thread for this so if it has been addressed please direct me to the post.
