Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Probably nothing, but Patterson Hood & the Screwtopians is totally black, and not greenishblueish. Beasties and Byrne=ugh...but at least it can be halved easily. NIN/Yeasayer - not a fun one either...definitely diggin the Snoop into Phish!!!
How can you even think about only seein' half of David Byrne? All jokin' aside this conflict sucks 'cause I will NOT miss DB and I wanted very much to at least see some Beasties.
OH it will be more than half, that's for sure! I've seen Byrne before and I would NEVER miss a ton of that...probably just the first part! I don't plan on missing half though! No way! ;D
The Wilco/Mars Volta overlap is giving me fits. As for Byrne/Beasties... for me its a no brainer. Ive seen Byrne but never seen Beasties. In all honesty. I hope a bunch of people filter out after Beasties to see the last 45 mins of Byrne so I can get up front for Phish. I love David Byrne and the time I saw him it was an absolutely surreal experience but sometimes you gotta make sacrifices and for me this years fest... hell this whole summer... is about Phish. Plain and simple. So if there are any tapers on here, please get a good spot for Byrne. I'll be looking for it the week after Roo when my ears are still ringing from Phish.
I'd be surprised if MGMT actually fills up that whole set time. Even if they do their whole album, a couple new songs, a couple old songs, and a cover, that would still just be around an hour.
They played for about an hour last year.......this year they are bound to have a few new songs AND a cover or two......they've been playing a few covers at live shows.

This is what I got back. And I truly believed we were getting Jack White..
"Hi Daniel,
Thanks so much for getting in touch. Those are the last of the artist additions on the main stages but the lineup for the Silent Disco dj's will be posted to the website in the coming weeks. As far as the schedule, we really appreciate and consider your comments and suggestions even if we can't accommodate every request. See you in June!
I will not doubt MGMT's abbilities to play a full set these are the guys that would play full shows of jamming the ghostbusters theme before they hit it big, true fact

For those who have yet to notice - there's another who received an email back over in the "No More Adds?" thread...basically states that there will be a Something Else and more night djs...check it out in that thread.

MGMT will be a stretch to fill 90minutes, I'm sure a stretch can be done accordingly. I wonder if the stretch will be painfully obvious from the crowd.
^^^ did you mention anything about superjam in your email to them?
No I should have asked about that and Something Else, but I didn't think about it too much. I just asked if there were going to be any main stage artists adds and voiced my support of moving AnCo to late night if it all possible.

I don't know about it being a stretch. Last year they played for an hour.
This year.....they've been on tour a little bit longer and have a few covers in their arsenal. Not to mention a new album they've got coming out. if they just played the same amount of songs last year plus 2 covers and 3 new songs that'd be about an hour and half. Plus since it's a late night and the members of MGMT have attended Roo in the past....maybe they'll be trying to do something special for getting such a coveted spot
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
I'm not worried about Relentless7. Ben Harper has enough friends at Roo this year (Warren Haynes, Trey and Patterson Hood to name a few) to guarantee some collaboration and improvisation on some huge rock songs. Expect a long one.

I have to agree with you on this. Ben Harper is not the kind of act where anything would really be gained by having it late at night. Other bands, such as Animal Collective or The Mars Volta could do more with the spot, IMO.

i'm excited about this spot for Ben Harper. I think with the new band he'll be ab;e to pull of a really amazing show. there will be plenty of covers and guests to guarantee a long show. if you remember in 07 latenight superjam he played for an hour and a half, but it was only 6 songs. I think he'll be fine that being said I really want to see moe. play too so hopefully they don't go over their time

It's definitely possible they could be added.......I just don't see it happening at this point. I'd LOVE it to happen......truly would. They have only the 11th scheduled. would be amazing.

Just so everyone's filled in (I posted this in the dedicated thread), but I got an email from info@bonnaroo saying that the Somethin' Else was NOT coming back this year. Boo.
EDIT: Oh yeah, but they did make specific mention of additions to come. Yay.

With the official schedule coming out, how many other acts will realistically be added? I agree that Dead Weather would be nice, but there's a few other acts that would be good additions too.
