^this summer's Radiohead tour was awesome Made a road trip with some friends to see them in May in St. Louis the week before we graduated from college. Waaaayyy better use of time than all that senior week crap they push on you.
I had a similar experience back in 03 when my friends and I went to go see Guns n Roses in Philly. Except Axl didn't show and there was a riot. So it is kind of like the same thing expect opposite.
Awesome I was there too, great show. Nothing much can beat a good Radiohead show imo. Im still going crazy over the Ed statement and Supercollider is still new song amazingness.
What the eff did Ed say? I keep seeing this posted everywhere, but did a google search and came up with nothing. Apparently I shouldn't buy into what he said too much, but still, I'm curious.
A link to the comment he made would be great, too.
The quotation is derived from a BBC interview Ed O'Brien did regarding the Featured Artist's Coalition (FAC). At the end of the interview, he mentioned they were planning on recording new material later this year, and that they will be playing a few dates later in the summer (probably to test out the new material as is often their practice).
Yeah, it's more than likely that they'll play UK or European dates when they test out their stuff. That 06 tour was a bit of an exception. MAYBE they play a U.S. festival in the fall, but I doubt it.

Can someone help me out with a list of artists that have been confirmed or at least heavily rumored, but not announced? I'm aware of Amadou & Miriam and the Dillinger Escape Plan. Any others?

"More dates soon" hopefully Bonnaroo???? It's not the whole trio but John Butler is pretty sweet on his own. Crossing my fingers he'll be back WITH the trio in Boston sometime soon.
fleet foxes are still a possibility but their tour dates make it seem doubtful...they are in Europe starting June 19th, so I guess its not impossible but who knows. I hope they make it I think they could definitely be a Thursday night tent headliner.
