That video is hilarious. I got my cat spayed the other day, and when I picked her up, they told me that she would be hallucinating for the next 8 hours or so, and that i should leave her in the carrier and put her in a dark room for that time. I thought that was horrible, but man was my cat messed up. She never meowed on the way home. i also recorded some footage of her messed up, but i havent done anything with it yet.
Did someone say glow stick war? Count me in! I was online looking at how expensive glowsticks in BULK were! I figure I'm gonna need atleast 75-100 sticks and bracelets.. Phish Beasties Oakenfold TMV GIRL TALK Galactic Animal Collective
not sure if this was ever addressed before, and i know it's kind of off topic, but who was responsible for the glow sticks during my morning jacket last year?

you're going to need more than that, honestly. I brought about 280 last year and that wasnt nearly enough.
Okay so maybe 500-1000. I'm a nice guy, I'll probably just hand some out to the people who were under prepared for the moment

The people behind me before the show were at least partly responsible. They were blowing up clear beach balls and and putting glow sticks into some of them. They had a pretty good amount of glow sticks that they started throwing when the first song started if I remember correctly. We were on the right side of the stage, near the beer stand.
But I think there may have been other groups of people that brought in glowsticks too. I should have asked the people behind me how they snuck them in.
I was thinking about putting together a double pair of compression shorts, sew the bottoms, all kinds of room in there and nothing could fall out while walking??

Hey there are ways. Me and my friends are the one's who snuck in the 1,000 glowsticks at Ghostland last year. You can find the awesome videos on youtube...
i don't know i guess i must have just gotten lucky because i got glowsticks in no problem... possibly because they were the bracelet/necklace kind & they thought that was alright??
i remember in 2007 i went out with them on and tried to come back in while sasha was playing and the guy gave me shyt.. but i pleaded with him and he let me in.

you're gonna need A LOT more than that. I brought 1000 last year ($50) and i plan on bringing at least that amount this year.
how many glowies did Aly bring to AllGood? they kept pulling out boxes... it was the coolest thing when we started passing them around the crowd and they started getting cracked all around... if i wasn't so spun i'd say there were at least 1000 on each night!
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
i wish people would just keep the things going. I hate it when people start grabbing them and not tossing them again. greedy punks. keep the magic going. as a glow stick virgin, i may have to sneak 50-100 in for Phish just to fuel the amazing fire.

Not a bad idea. I might have to try this.
Any other suggestions?
Actually I just came up with that idea last night while I was surfing the Inforoo boards. No others yet but if I do, I'll share

we had a couple hundred at MMJ. At one point we would each pick two of two different colors and make a small hoop with them (like a frisbee). we would throw them forward and then wait to see somebody else pick it up and throw it and we would keep watching them to see whose made it the furthest.

If I make it to Roo, I'll have to bring some glowsticks. I guarantee I can get some in...I won't bother trying to bring a ton, but I can get a few no problem. When you're a girl you don't get searched as much. (The best was the time I went through the line just wearing my bikini....that poor guy had no idea what to do. He sort of just went "uhhhhhhhh go ahead, I guess...")
And I can vouch for the fact that they WILL take even the little bracelet-type glowsticks, at least sometimes. The first night in 07 I had cracked a few and my friends and I were each wearing one little one as a bracelet and they took 'em. I wish I'd known so I could have just thrown them in my pocket or in my bag or something!
get the bracelets, they don't hurt buy A LOT... you can never have too many DO NOT pack them all in the same place ...so if they find one you still have the others don't be a glowie hog... throw them back and one more thing... when you leave the farm, pick up ur shizz, this includes dead glowies
all of me and my peeps together .... 3000 it was awesome
the best thing to do is synch up several dudes with good throwing arms and let them fly... then do it again... and again ;D
ummm yeah so why dont we just all buy like 1000 or more a piece and all meet up at some point somewhere before phish with our glowsticks so we can launch a massive attack? we'll wreap the rewards trust me. the band loves this kind of stuff. they'll enjoy it immensely if some 50,000 or so glowsticks launch off from one area. i remember reading a ways back an interview with trey where he was talking about how the glowstick war at IT was one of the most amazing things he ever saw and how he cherished that moment. so lets give him something to remember us by. lets do this. phish inforoo glowstickwar meetup!
