How many people on here have seen a real glowstick war? Like a seriously huge one. Not just in one section but encompassing the whole show? I really havent seen one since Big Cypress probably. The one at IT was pretty close though. Oswego is probably the best one I have seen. When you see coordinated waves of glow from each corner its much different from when its just a couple of people.

I've never seen a real, big, crazy one. The first time I saw glowsticks in an audience was at Roo in 05 for Trey's Late Night Show. It wasn't anything huge but it was impressive to me since it was my first time. Since then i've only been to shows that haven't had much or shows at roo that have a good amount but a short short time. MMJ last year had a couple as well as the GRAB Superjam - but again.......nothing crazy. I am so excited for Roo latenight phish and I can't wait to experience the wild night.
Its definitely a whole different animal. When you see somone on the left side toss a couple of thousand glowsticks at one time and your like whoa did you see that? And then another couple of thousand get tossed from the right, then its just a ceiling of light above you.

The GRAB Superjam was the most I have seen at Bonnaroo. Believe it or not, I remember a good amount of them during DMB in 2005 when they played Bartender.

Big Cypress was the last awesome one I saw. Although 3/1/03 (Greensboro) had a really incredible waterfall of a zillion bright orange glowsticks on the left balcony, didn't really turn into a "war."

So is this super mega latenight phish glowstick war gonna be a "real" glowstick war?
Just gonna put this out there. Not sorry if its already be covered. Clean up glowsticks after the Phish show. Don't leave thousands upon thousands of them for the clean vibes folks to deal with. Id hope this goes without saying to my phellow phans but since 2003, ive noticed a big lax in cleaning up the stage areas after shows. Lets set a good example at Bonnaroo and clean the glowsticks up after we go quacking mental. Also, the glow sticks in balloons thing is a cool idea. This show is going to be absolutely incredible.
