In Knoxville, on Magnolia Ave, theres a Chandler's Deli, which apparently is a BBQ place.
"Wolfman on BBQ trail which may lead him to JOHN DENVER...."
I dont if it has to do with anything, but obviously, given my location...I go to West Virginia University, and this city is damn near obsessed with "Country Roads" (Its played all the time up here, during football games, and after every home win since like 1975)
So I don't....know....I feel like I should know more.
The whole BBQ thing and the John Denver thing is probably thus just telling us you will be key. Which really, really sucks for you. The pressure!
The Analog vs. Digital part of the clue does not seem to actually be the clue... I think it means we have to actually look for the clue in real life... instead of looking for it online.
In fact, I think we only have a clue to find the clue as of right now. However, if WVU is the location of the clue, then I might be able to help out as well. If not... well, then I guess whoever is nearby is going to need to get it.
Perhaps "in one of two jeans pockets where ladies venture not" is referring to the back jeans pockets. Women rarely would use them, but men typically keep their wallets there.
I also think that maybe what they said, "you will actually find this clue in the analog world, not the digital one ...", is actually telling us that were we will find the clue
Just wanted to give everyone one more theory to consider.
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers cover - maybe we need the cover of the original vinyl - analog. Who has it?!

I think they are saying you will find the clue in one of two jeans pockets where women venture not, and I think they are referirng to the back pockets there.
Could the actual clue be or have something to do with a wallet?

I agree. I think this has something to do with a vinyl.
The clue is scribbled in a men's room on a bathroom door or something where only a guy can access it?
The pocket reference leads me to another idea...
The place where we have to go has a Big Boy-esque statue, some character wearing pants, and the clue will be found in the back pocket of the statue/mannequin.
Hopefully the clue doesn't dissapear before one of us go venturing for it.

The album cover for Sticky Fingers has a shot of a guy in jeans - the words Rolling Stones and Sticky Fingers are coming out of the watch pocket. It was a big deal when it came out because the packaging included a real zipper on the jeans that was pulled down. It can only be found on the analog (album) version. It would be hard for any of us to solve it right now because it's unlikely any of us has it in that version - it's a rarity. Also, no LADY would go into the unzipped area - he said lady, not girl or woman. I think that is where we have to look.

I will bet anyone that it is not Born in the Usa but Sticky Fingers. There is nothing special about the analog version of Born in the Usa. There is nothing about it that would make it hard for most of us to get - he said that solving this required something most of us don't have - like a rare vinyl collection.

notdark - I think we are looking for something only available on the vinyl version. If not the zipper, do you know if there is anything else on your album that you don't see on the cd art?
I know, you probably can't possibly tell that unless you also have the cd.
