i think we also need to pay attention to the part that says "isn't in europe" that musta been added on for a reason.
I think that was written bc AC/DC was speculated until it was confirmed that they will be in Europe in June. A different AC/DC will be at the Farm (which is not in Europe).

I agree that the AC/DC is probably in reference to the Phish song, because, as it appears to me, they are giving up the rumor that they are playing as fact. Hence, an easy clue. Also, if you look at the thread that he actually posted in today, you will see that Bonnaroo radio will be updated, but not before XMas, so I would doubt that we would have a lineup before the new year. Just a few thoughts...

who talked to him at the brunch. i recall him saying he would drop a clue then but i never even got to meet him. come on folks - what did he say! was he wearing a shirt with a fish on it?
Just reading through this thread, it's pretty clear Phish fans are going to find ways to interpret every clue as a Phish confirmation once Radio Bonnaroo gets rolling...

I don't think this is a Phish reference. Allow me to explain. The way he phrased it - "but someone who is AC/DC isn't in Europe." AC/DC is used as an adjective here... and I know that the clues last year didn't necessarily make sense, but in line with the rules of semantics, it'd make sense that AC/DC, in this case, is slang for bisexual, and not just name-dropping a Phish song, that just wouldn't make sense. As someone previously referenced that Beck song about "someone who swings both ways - AC/DC." That leaves the field open for not only bisexual artists, but for any other sorts of slang that AC/DC might stand for. There's my two cents.

The way that the Phish fans talk on here, I have already given in to the idea of them being there. I am not happy about it, but everyone is basically assuming that it is true, that and the general difficulty of last years clues are what made me think that this was a Phish reference.

I doubt he'll give clues for the headliners this year. Besides, we already kinda know it's the Boss and Phish. I'm going with AC/DC to mean either Animal Collective or the Mars VOLTa.
Why do you doubt clues for the headliners?
Basically because he kinda pissed off the suits last year by giving easy clues, or so I've heard. I'm just expecting harder clues, and for the middle to lower tier bands. Just speculation tho.

Yes but the more I think about it, the more I realize what an easy clue this is. Though it doesn't point to anyone in particular (except Bowie, as some have suggested), it does narrow down the field considerably, possibly as a pre-cursor to another clue. AC/DC as an adjective has limited meaning, and the Phish reference is incidental, I think. To be sure, I'm not a huge fan of them and I'm not excited about a headlining and late-night set, but I still don't think that this particular clue is referencing Phish.

i dont know if this has to do with somebody being bi-sexual or not.
are there any bands with the initials a.c.d.c? any two person groups who the members may have those intials? or maybe a 4 person groupe whose last or first names start with those letters?
my guess is we will have to dig deeper to find the answer to this clue
