Well recently i have been having some troubles with the 'Roo wristband. It seems as some people I have been encountering recently have been having problems with me wearing it! All those intramural referees always are giving me crap to take it off before my intramural sports. I am proud to tell you all that Bonnaroo has meant so much to me and has been so life changing that I have walked out of the gym twice in defiance of their rules as to preserve the 'Roo wristband's place on my body. Is there anyone else out there who have faced much controversy with their wristband? Stories successful and unsuccessful?

still rocking mine! i would love to run into someone with it on!! no one asks me about my "bracelet" anymore. lol. i guess everyone around me is used it it!!
im so scared itll fall off b4 roo. the edges are loooking a lil shredded.
WOW, that is dedication msfeli! I felt like I had mine on forever, and I took it off mid-september at the end of my festival season. I tried to use it to sneak into lollapalooza, because they used the same fabric-y bands. even though i rubbed a bunch of dirt on it and tried to be sly, they caught on. Fortunately i found another way to sneak in, i would have had some big time buyers remorse if i had paid to get in

i still have mine on and i ran into a girl at the ghostland observatory show in atlanta that still has it on. The only annoying thing about it is when im eating chips and salsa the lag on the band dips into the salsa, but yet again bonnaroo tastes good with salsa!

^hahah i love chips and salsa. i have a little wraparound thing going on.. like the excess that hang.. i wrapped it in a loop around the black thing. i couldnt deal with it flopppin like that for... almost 6 months!! whohoo..almost halfway there!
I'm still rockin mine and now I'm the only out of my friends I went with that has it on. I haven't encountered anybody with one on in public though. But some people have noticed it on me and either asked what bonnaroo is or said they had gone and we get in conversations about it.

I was working as a chef this summer and it would always get in the way so I did the same thing and I normally do that when im playing sports or something just so it doesnt get caught on anything and rip. Everyone I went with took theres off months ago even though they vowed to leave it on. I mean its just a piece of fabric wrapped around your wrist, why not leave it on.
ive ran into people with wrist bands on earlier in the threads I talked about meeting a kid in Amsterdam that had one. Ive seen less and less as it gets farther away, I cant believe its been almost 6 months. Crazy.
haha me too I don't think I've ever committed to anything so long in my life. I also added 2 other wristband things so it spurred a collection. I hope I still have it in june.

I had to take mine off because work didn't like it. Gotta have a job... It is now tied onto my concert/festival backpack. I met some people at the Allman Brothers show in Charlotte this year who saw the band and had been at Roo too. We talked about our experiences the whole time we were in line to get in.
still got mine intact...can take it off and put it on at will so i keep it on most of the time....got a buddy..my sweet swampy, that got in one year withot a ticket cause he was still rockin the plastic band from the year b4! now brothers and sisters that is some crazy shizz
you guys are dedicated! I only left mine on for a week, but I still have it. I'm still wearing my MSG pit bracelet from the NYE MMJ show... but it's only been a mere 48 hours. it's very glitzy looking so it won't stay on for too much longer.
eww, I'm surprised some of your hands havent fallen off.
i second this!
Much like any good student of nursing, I wash my hands constantly! The bracelet gets it too - so it smells like watermelon - or whatever soap I have at the time =D
That's the cool thing about the cloth bracelets - they wash like clothes do, I guess!
