I am going to lovingly make my first appearance at Bonnaroo this year. A friend of mine said she will go with me if we rent an RV. Can anyone give me any details of what is involved with getting an RV into Bonnaroo?
FROM THE WEBSITE: All RVs will be parked in specifically designated, RV-only areas on the festival grounds. If you own an aircraft carrier, feel free to park it anywhere you can find a space. Just don't double park in a “no parking” zone - those things are impossible for us to tow.
There will be a special VIP RV pass required for each RV to enter the VIP RV parking area. Passes will be $75 (including service fees). Supplies will be limited.
The VIP RV parking pass upgrade only includes parking for (1) RV only. In other words, when you purchase a VIP RV Parking pass upgrade, you will be allowed to drive an RV onto the festival grounds instead of a car.
VIP RV passes will be available when you purchase your tickets to Bonnaroo.
Under no circumstances will an RV be permitted to enter the festival grounds without a pass. Not even with a note signed by your parents.
An RV is defined as any vehicle larger either in length, width or height than a normal sixteen (16) passenger van. All oversized vehicles, trailers, and campers that are towed and busses are considered RVs.
Check the Bonnaroo Info Guide for more complete and detailed information regarding RVs at Bonnaroo.

Wow you guys are on top of this message board...thanks for the quick replies....so are the RV's in a seperate parking space all parked together? Just trying to determine how I would be with all my tent camping friends if that is even possible.
You really won't be able to park next to them. They haven't done that since '03... They can walk over from their site and hang out at your RV or vice/versa though
I've never purchased a companion pass, so I can't answer your question about multiple ones. I didn't see anything about a limit on the official 'Roo site, but it might come up when purchasing the pass.
We rented an Rv last year and only had one companion pass but it didnt matter cause once they got us in our spot our other 3 car loads of friends left where they got parked and parked with us. They'll only let one car park with your Rv when they first park you but after that if you can squeeze in more cars around you then do it!!!
RV passes won't sell out. they'll sell as many as they can. if they sell more than last year, that means they'll dedicate more space to RVs than last year, that's all.
