haha yeah that was a good time. I was totally dorkin it out with my inforoo shirt. Got a nice big pile going now, only a few small items left to get and of course beer and food when the time is right. SO CLOSE
My boyfriend and I have a room in our house that has all the instruments and music gear in it normally. That stuff is still in there, but in the middle of the room is our pile. We've been slowly filling the cooler with the small stuff (to keep it all together) and stacked the tent and EZ up nearby. I've always called it the music room, but for the next month, it will be known as the Bonnaroom.
So far all I've done to prepare is start making my NIN outfit. Made a "Beside You In Time" shirt into a tank, added some zippers and such, and I'm wearing it with one of those huge, puffed out, old-timey skirts with chains all over it. I'm gonna be sweating my ass off, but hopefully it'll be allright. (I'm gonna wear shorts under it just in case).
I'm gonna have to make something crazy for the Animal Collective show, too... Hmmm... Lots of color...
Well, I started buying general supplies a few days ago. My buddy and his girlfriend had to return a file cabinet at good ole' Wally W. so I went along for the ride..anyway I hate that place so I go as little as possible but since I was there I though....Roo supplies and a smile crept upon my face. Real quick I got Shade, Sun shower, water spritz bottle, poncho, Camel Bak, and few odds and ends. Not much , but it's a start...he-he. ;D

so I was one of those lucky people who got caught going to roo last year and I am currently serving my 50 hours of community service at Goodwill. Right before I left today I saw a BRAND NEW Coleman sleeping bag and it only cost me $5!!! I am sooooo happy.
Oh yeah and it's purple... the best color in the world! I am so happy!
i picked up some all purpose baby shampoo & baby wipes yesterday! -> right in the pile!
i printed out half-page sized pictures of roo stuff: overhead pics, random people, trey's mug shot...& made a countdown. it's hanging right on the front door so i can see it all the time.

The case wasn't settled until October, that's when my year of probation started. Since I have never been in any kind of trouble I was able to get a pre-trial diversion.
$400 in fines, 1 year of probation, and 50 hours of community service is what I got and in return, the charges aren't put on my record.
I have put off doing my community service because school has been really really tough for me this year but I have had my fines paid off since December.
My roo pile is almost complete (if such a thing can ever be said of a roo pile). I basically just need small goods like ear plugs, batteries, beer and food, and maybe a few other things. Just bought a ticket for my friend yesterday. It's almost time!

I spent another $100 or so on more tent fans, galoshes, earplugs, water, a few glo sticks, etc... Just need batteries, food, beer, and a table of some sort. 30 days seems like an eternity. At least I have the schedule to keep me occupied for a few days.
A Thieve's Parade 2/24 Conspirator 2/26 Kevin Smith 3/11 Keller 3/17 Papadosio 3/18 JJ Grey 3/25 Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer 3/26 Toubab Krewe 3/27 O'Death 4/11 Budos Band 4/22 EOTO 4/28 Summer Camp 5/6-29 All Good
scored a 8x8 popup canopy for $50 including shipping on ebay! SWEET! my pile has officially started. Now I gotta go check out what kinda condition my parents old tent is in, and hopefully I won't have to purchase one.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
I just bought a hookah - it's not FOR 'Roo per say, but it's GOING to The Farm for sure, so I think it counts! ;D
Good investment. We had a hookah in 07 and a good way to make friends with your neighbors in the mornings. We would sit around and smoke the hookah for a good hour or 2 before any of the shows started.

Woohoo! Except for groceries, I think my Roo pile is complete today! This is the earliest that's ever happened, thanks to my (un?)healthy obsession with inforoo.
I went through my camping box to take inventory and make a list of what needs replacing. I don't need to buy much other than food, thank goodness. My Bonnabox is in my kitchen and is being filling with things my dog won't steal and eat. Most of my prep deals with finding things that have gone missing in the move and solving a few minor problems, such as, what to sit on in Centeroo and what to use for a flag.
My pile has taken over half my guest room. And I am only about half way there. But, that does include slightly unecessary, but fun, items, like water balloons and glow in the dark make-up.

I just bought some big bubble wands. They were on sale at wal mart yesterday for a dollar apiece and i got one of those "That would be fun at bonnaroo" thoughts. I wasn't even looking for 'roo things that time...

I am ready to start piling my pile up in one location, THE KITCHEN, this Tuesday. I have been putting it off b/c my group has limited me to 2 bags and I think I packed 2 per day last year. I literally have all the camping supplies that my group uses, but I haven't been able to pile it up without worrying them that i'm overpacking again. I have the glow sticks hidden in my trunk for now.
