Well, if we are talking outside the realm of reality type changes, I would make it so that the sun does not come out until 11:00 am, so that there would be more and longer late night sets and so that people could sleep longer without getting fried by 9:00 in the morning.
It always freaks me out when the sun starts coming up, and it is not even 5:00 in the morning.

Yep agreed! That killed us last year because we had no shade at our camp whatsoever. Just more shade in general at Roo would be nice.

I would make some kind of supernatural concoction that eliminates the damn humidity.
The humidity has always been bareable for me. My first time I didnt know what to expect because Id never spent an extended amount of time anywere in the southeast besides Florida. Im from NY and during the summer we get insane amounts of humidity. On days in the Summer when its 85 it feels like hell compared to Roo. The only thing that is a killer there is the lack of shade, because the temp is most definetly worse in the south. Im gonna invest in a nice 20X20 UV tarp this year and see how it works out.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

this is how we set up camp the past two years..... we use two canopys with tarps wrapped around them. It is a real nice sun blocker....and is quite private as well.

Yeah, I live in Atlanta and the humidity makes the air feel like your inhaling steam all the time. But unlike Bonnaroo, I have more shade and it isn't usually taken up by everyone else. I'm going to try your tarp idea.
I know lots of folks live in places where it gets very hot and humid...I mean I'm from Michigan and we even get some hella humid days in the summer there......but its the fact that you are OUTSIDE FOR 4 DAYS IN 95 DEGREE HEAT AND DISGUSTING HUMID. So yea....I'd get rid of that part....

Will probably be the best money I spend on camping stuff before Roo.
Like everyone else Im really going to try to beat the heat this year. I spend very little time at my camp normally, but when Im there I really need to relax. Prolonging my tent from turning into an oven is also an objective.

i would change it to have to walk through less horse shit, or at least have separate pathways just for the horses or something. the way they take that truck and spray the path down disolves all the horsey poo and turns the path into horsey mud is just nasty. maybe they could get diapers or something.

I think it would be cool if they set-up several smaller tents or canopies so that we'd all have a shaded area to sit around and chill in while we were waiting in Centeroo. I know that there are misting stations already but, they get pretty gross pretty quickly. Just an idea.

most definitely. i could not stand to miss some shows i missed. i would definitely spread Roo out over more time, or do better time management for the "good shows"

If they spread-it-out/make it longer, you'll only end-up missing more shows. They won't add a "sh*tty band day", so you'll probably just have to make more difficult decisions in the end. Thursday is already well on-track to becoming another "full" day of music, so I think you're getting your wish. I just don't think it will make anything any easier.
I would like a mist tent that actually has mist beyond Thursday. If they exist, I haven't found one. It seems they just become shade a day into the fest. Unless they are just off certain times, but in 4 years I've never found one on except Thurs.

I totally miss the DJ's in between main stage sets from the first year - never a dull moment. If they can't bring that back, what about broadcasting a set from one of the tents (either live or pre-recorded) over the mainstage speakers during that break.
i wouldn't change anythinig, i trust the bonnaroo gods in that all the negative things that exist at roo serve only to enhance the positive things. without pain, would there truly be pleasure?
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
