We're taking the Greyhound bus to Tennessee from Toronto, and we were wondering if anyone had any idea where we'd be dropped off? And how far it'd be from Bonnaroo? And how could we get there i.e. is it close enough to walk? Is anyone else taking a Greyhound bus to get there?
We're taking a Greyhound from Winnipeg and our plan is to stay in Nashville Wednesday night at the Country Inn near the airport and then catch an early shuttle to the festival. The Country Inn has shuttle service to the airport where the festival shuttle picks everyone up. From what I can tell, the bus station is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel, so the cab fare would be reasonable

i believe it is several miles from the wally world in manchester that you get dropped off when will you be getting in may be someone will have enough room to pick yall up from bus station... and welcome to the board kristenandmiranda also any other logistic question you can find most answers in this tent forum
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

Yea, I'm not sure where exactly the bus will drop you off in Manchester. I would be suprised if Bonnaroo didn't have a shuttle running from the bus station. If not, I'm sure you could take a taxi from the bus station to Wal-Mart (or directly to Bonnaroo) and hop on the shuttle there.

That'd actually be beautiful. Thank you. Where is Bonnaroo in respects to Wal-Mart and the bus station, and do you have any idea where we could find out about shuttle buses? Thank you.

I've never done it myself so don't quote me on this, but I believe the Greyhound station is close enough that people have walked it in the past. At any rate, I'm sure there will be a lot of people on your bus going to Bonnaroo, so make some friends! Then you'll have someone to walk/shuttle/taxi/whatever with and you won't be on your own trying to figure it out. Plus you'll be able to pass time on the bus ride chatting, and if you meet cool people you could even camp together at Roo.

I don't have any idea where the bus station is, but I found this elsewhere on the boards, under "walmart meet up".
"The Greyhoud station is off exit 110, and Wal-Mart is off exit 114. Thats 4 miles down the interstate, in the middle of June, in Middle Tennessee, with all your camping gear on your back.
Its a lot shorter of a walk to roo from the bus station, than to walmart."
All I can say is pm Wooz - he has a map he did on google that shows where the bus station is - he rode the bus in last year - he knows what you need to know
Be sure and check out the Helping Hands thread if you need some basic supplies (ie water, toilet paper, etc) and don't have room in your bags. Guaranteed someone will volunteer to bring you some. Here's a link
You'll find the location of the hound station on this map: tinyurl.com/2prmyf
It is a good walk from both roo and the wal-mart, but as soon as our hound pulled in a few cabs showed up to ferry people to wherever they wanted to go. The gas station by the hound stop also had cab numbers posted, you'll be fine.
Boomerang, myself, and our greyhound posse decided to walk to roo from the greyhound, and it was quite a good hike.
Here are a few cab numbers for you: ADC Cab 1202 Woodland Dr, Manchester, TN (931) 723-0232
