The Hold Steady - late nite

One of my favorite shows at Roo '07. I saw them a bunch of times last year and cannot get enough of them. In my mind their aren't many bands that could be a better fit for a late nite set. They're built for after-dark drunken/altered debauchery and they've been known to play some massive 2.5 hour sets. Plus they've got a new album coming out sometime this year.

Another one of the groups I wanted to see last year, but missed. I'd love to see them, I loved their most recent album.

imma say nah, but thats just for me, i ve tried to give em a listen, actually went to their set at roo...

ill agree that they have incredible energy, and can totally do it, but i for some reason just cant get into the music.

I don't know about them for latenight.. I saw them at 07, I dug em, but to bring em back 1 year later with a latenight? I just dont think it'll happen

Very unlikely. But very, very awesome. These guys are one of my top five favorite live acts. So much energy. Easily the best show I saw at Roo last year.

I'd be happy with them any time, during the day, whenever, as long as they are NOT on What Stage. Their show relies on the intimacy of a tent or smaller stage.
