many people are complaining about being ripped off. I feel that I should share my story. Icame back to my truck before the Phil show to reload. I left out to centaroo to meet my pals. Enjoyed the show till 11:00 and the rains came. Went out to the truck to pack up and found my truck with the passengers doors open. looked like a burglary. upon further investigation I realized that I left them open when I made my traveling cocktail. Nothing missing!! Both of my neighbors had left and could have cleaned me out. No problem. We kept a eye on our neighbors stuff when they were gone. looks like they looked out for me as well. We had a great ROO and cant wait to go next year
yeah, saturday night we slept in the car because my tent got blown away while we were in centeroo. left the back hatch open (had a mini van) all night while we slept with money, cigs, a grinder and bowl right in the open and no one touched any of it. I love bonnaroo

Wow I am surprised. I guess I am too trusting of others after being at so many Grateful Dead and Phish shows where no one ever bothered with my stuff. This Bonnaroo we had 2 SUVs with the backs open most of the weekend, 2 full coolers, 3 really nice chairs, and a grill all sitting out there and no one messed with our stuff. I guess I just always hope that others are as respectful to me as I am to them.
I was so paranoid that my stuff was going to get stolen. Well...it wasn't my stuff. it was my moms very nice camera and cell phone...My car was left unlocked many times and LUCKILY I was never burglurized..yay

the drunk drum circle hippies camping next to us were up late sunday being annoying and around 2 decided it would be cool to go raid some coolers and steal some beer. So much for peace and love. At least they stopped beating on the drums.
In my area, a number of small groups around me linked up into a neighborhood of about 12-14 people, we set our tents up in a circle/oval and shared a common area in the middle (one groups tarp over our table, with someone elses grill, etc). That shared common area/hangout spot really helped our neighborhood grow into a tight-knit group, and several thievery attempts were diverted because we knew who lived in which tent, whose cooler was whose, etc. Usually a "What the F.UCK are you doing?" to a sketchead peering into a car window sent them packing.
Hey Cwag, I see you live in Lafayette, IN, do you live near Wolf Park? Been up there a few times with my daughter who is obsessed with wolves. Very cool place to visit. Long drive from Nashville but very worth it
