yo, this was my first roo and the greatest time of my life, I was wanting to know when they announced the artist lineup for next year and when tickets go on sale
man I don't know if I could do it again or not...I mean this was fun as hell, but it may be a once is enough kinda thing...we got real lucky with the no rain (except for late Sunday but I was gone by then) I don't know how enjoyable it would be if it rained a ton like years past. I think that would be one to many hassles for the trip.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

With proper clothing and equipment, the rain can easily be defeated. Us first timers lucked out with no rain, but now I easily know hwo to prepare next year for most anything! I will definately be getting tickets when the first go on sale!
they should offer up half price tickets if you buy them now. i know that id be purchasing mine today if they did. actually id buy them today if the were full price.
"Man and his deed are two distinct things...a good deed should call forth approbation a a wicked deed disapprobation, the doer of the deed, whether good or wicked, always deserves respect or pity as the case may be. 'Hate the sin and not the sinner' is a precept which, though easy enough to understand, is rarely practicsed (sic), and that is why the poison of hatred spreads in the world." -Ghandi
This was my first year. I'm still up in the air about next year. It will come down to the lineup. I need a reason to go other than getting wasted. I had fun with the people I was with, but I would consider going alone as well and just meeting people.
I agree about the luck with the rain. I would rather have the scorching heat all weekend than the rain.
Third times a charm! Really though...jesus its like the only time i can kill so many birds with a 180 dollar stone. Bonnaroo is amazing. Come back next year and i'll hold an umbrella over your head Jware.
i knew after 04 id go to every one they have. my house burned down memorial day weekend last year. i woke up in smoke and made it out with the shorts i was wearing, my dog and my car. everything else i have ever owned was gone. i still made it to roo though.

actually roo was what kept me sane through the whole thing. made everything seem allright for 4 days and got me motivated to rebuild so id be good to make it this year. its amazing that something that beats me up so bad and tortures my body is what recharges me enough to get through the year. man i love roo!!!!!

I know EXACTLY what you mean. My b/f lost his job one day before we left. 'Roo really helped us make it through. Being there just helps reinforce the realization that there are more important things to worry about. He'll get work. We had an awesome time. F*ck it.

wow, that's impressive. I think I'd lose the Roo spirit if I had just lost everything.
before Roo this year, I thought this would be my last year.. but now, I feel there is no way I will ever miss another one. I guess from my past experiences is why I was gonna make it my last one (I always left on sunday morning, because I had no choice but I drove myself this year and left monday). I had sooooo much fun and would buy my tix for the next 5 years if I could.
you first timers definitly got lucky with no rain. I liked the heat better than the rain.
