Holy schnikeees!!!! Paul Simon is the number one act I've been wanting at Bonnaroo since it's inception. If this is true, and it seems like that has to be the answer, I just wet myself!!!
And it can't be Simon and Garfunkel, because Jazz Fest has advertised their show as the only US appearance of the duo this year.

I'm wigging out here. Paul Simon!
haha! I know how you feel, and I'm truly glad you used the phrase "Holy Schnikees"
Does anyone see him taking the Byrne spot from last year against KOL on Which Stage?
This makes a lot of sense if it is the answer. I would hope to have them both there, but with the jazzfest announcement it seems unlikely. Paul Simon is a great get though with the potential/realistic lackluster top of the lineup that is rumored

But, djjd said he thinks this is the easiest clue, but he's often wrong....

I think this is 100percent going to be Simon AND Garfunkel. I will also be seeing them at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in April! so they are on the move, i say it's a lock!
Djjd said he thought this was the easiest clue, but he's often wrong. If he's wrong, then the clue is hard. The clue is #8. Topaz has a hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. "Paz" is Spanish for peace. Maybe the two, Simon and Garfunkel, have made peace?

Your outlandish guesses ALWAYS make me laugh! No offense, I just enjoy the fact that each and every one of your posts is this MASSIVE and incomprehensible stretch.

For this clue from DJJD
# 8 is sorta easy- kinda easy, but not a gimme.
One guess on an earlier clue was so spot on- the guesser will be getting a prize.
Who offered a beer or eat a shoe or something like that in the Buddy Holly clue if that answer wasn't right? Need to look at the time of the original tweet that said someone guessed a clue that was right for something coming.
The djjd statement was made @ 1:58 pm on the 21st so it has to be a band guessed before that.
Juggernaut said if it wasn't Alberta Cross he'd buy himself a beer. Anything with this?
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Paul Simon makes a lot of sense, with S&G playing jazzfest and Superfly being a part of Jazzfest. Also, with the announcement of Jazzfest being the only S&G show this year Paul Simon at bonnaroo it is.

Ok new direction here. Why is And capitalized in that clue? Usually even in a song title or article you don't capitalize and. If you take all the capital letters for this clue you have T A J A minus the A for without Art.
So Tom And Jerry without Art would just be T and J
