Sometimes... I love my job. (gasp! )
I'm doing an experiment which involves burning a strong alcohol off a fabric in an oven. I walked past the lab and noticed lots of gas coming from the oven so I walked in to check it out. My supervisor also walked in and checked it out and then she started laughing. I looked over and she goes "everything's perfectly good. This is just alcohol vapor coming off, and it's so strong that it's just like drinking it" After taking my time to leave the lab and vapors I went to sit down and realized "hot damn... I really do feel honkey donkey great right now!"
Probably took 10 years off my life inhaling pure alcohol vapors, but hey... those 10 years might've been lame anyways
LOL! That would be too much fun...the closest I'll get to that is the Bourbon Balls one of the girls brings in at Christmas Luckily she's pretty heavy handed with the Bourbon...it's the only way some of us made it through Decemeber last year....
ok - so last night - I get online - I think cool - Meebo is on the screen - not so cool - apparently my pitiful little hard drive on my laptop at home cannot handle running the board and meebo at the same time - so it crashed on me - not fun.
It does that when I try to watch youtube at home and also if I try to load a myspace page that has too many graphics
congrats sweetjesus - we just had one of those 24hr doggie daycare/boarding kennel open here and it is doing a booming business - will you be grooming also?

No. I've done some basic grooming in the past, but it can be a HUGE pain in the ass! I'll just be feeding and playing with them. I can't imagine an better job (for me at least)!

I did volunteer work for doing that last year and loved it... I can't imagine actually getting paid to do it! and I thought my free lunch was enough...

^^This Echo Project is pissing me off. It might be the best lineup of all the summer festivals (except maybe for the Killers...) and I'm not gonna be able to go. damn the irony!!
We didn't think we were gonna be able to go at first, but my mom agreed to buy our tickets for my birthday present! If it wasn't for that, we really couldn't afford to go. Which would have been a real bummer because it is only about 45 minutes from our apartment (if that far).

Yeah see I won't have a car or money. I need my mom to suddenly become nice and say "here, take my car and leave school for the weekend. and here, have this ticket to this music festival I heard about, it might be fun"

On the way to work this morning I went to play something on my ipod and I realized I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to listen to. I happen to have playlists for nearly every mood imaginable (i get bored a lot...) so I went through those and not a single one was working for me. Even my reliable bands such as Zeppelin or Radiohead or My Morning Jacket couldn't get me happy with whatever I was listening to. I ended up driving in silence, and it was miserable but it was better than listening to something I wasn't in the mood for.
I think that's why I'm in such a shitty mood today... does this happen to anyone else?
That happens to me sometimes (although I don't drive to work, I walk/take the train) . . . sometimes just nothing seems right. Usually, when it happens to me, I just put it on shuffle and hope whatever plays works for me.
