With the couple threads about your top 30 bands, and top 15 albums, I thought it would be fun to do one of just 25 random songs that your music player of choice generates when you put it into random/shuffle mode. Kinda gives an idea of the randomness of most of our music collections. My random 25 are:

A couple of thoughts: 1. I have 22,370 songs on my Itunes with over 2 months worth of tunes, and Itunes shuffle still managed to pick two songs from one album. No complaints though. I've been into Smog lately. 2. The Delays are underrated.

Wow dudezer, and i thought having like 12,000 songs on my computer was a lot.
This does not take into account the music floating around on backup discs. A long time ago, I figured out a systematic way of amassing a large amount of music, and it's sort of snowballed from there. I use the three headed monster of trade-ins, file sharing and, above all, libraries.
