Well, I do not know if the Bell Witch is an Urban Legand or history, but the movie from last summer set it in Adams TN, but everyone who lives in McMinnville TN knows that the Bells used to live down by Faulkner Springs (in McMinnville), before they lived in Admas. I have been riding by that house since I was a little kid and it always creeps me out!
The Bell Witch stuff is freaky. I went to the Bell Witch cave last year and heard some strange things. They also said that people who stole rocks from the cave had bad luck after they left and always sent the rocks back.
I recently did allot of research on the Bell Witch, and I found out that my Grandfather has a very, very valuable book on the Bell Witch. As a kid, when I lived in Russellville, KY, he would always read me that stuff so I knew allot about the Bell Witch. I spared myself the misfortune of seeing that movie, it looked so bad. I was pretty surprised though that it wasn't a big deal more nationally, but I guess when you grow up in the middle of knowwhere like South-Western Kentucky, everything around you is all you know...
