They were fun in 2006 (?) or 2007 (?) -- stumbled on them real late (were they playing at like 2:00am?) and we got bowled over.
Lets you know the state of mind I was in...
According to the schedule, they played from 1:30 - 2:30 in This Tent. One of my goals for this year is to be able to remember what I did Thursday night.

What? Nope. They played a cafe stage at like, midnight (when the bassist broke a string, a guy from Dr. Dog offstage helped him fix it). They played a second set later in the weekend, I think on Sonic.

Sorry mis-read the schedule, according to the one in the Guide, they played Troo Music Lounge 1:30-2:30 am Thursday night, of course they may have been re-scheduled, but that's all I have to go by. That's all their bio lists too.

I'm really, really excited about seeing them! I missed them last year at Roo b/c I had no clue who they were, then I started hearing them on the radio and read a write-up in Paste about them...then I missed them when they played a show here back in January so YAY! This is good news!

Well, I hate to be a nitpicker, but I had a picture on my phone that was marked at 1:57 am, so I'm thinking you're right, JD. Like I said though, I was pretty lost.

Oh yeah, we're all right- I thought he was saying 1:30-2:30 pm and I knew they weren't in This Tent.
I just remember it being one of the more vivid moments, kind of stumbling into that tent and getting an aural enema from the Whigs. There were a couple folks dancing on a table a few chairs tipped over, people mulling around -- it felt more like a beer tent at a carnival or something, but with an awesome band providing the soundtrack! Good times, indeed.
