^^Yes and no. He and Boots are friends and collaborators, but Morello only drops in from time to time. And given Morello's going to be overseas with RATM during the fest, I wouldn't expect him to be at Bonnaroo.
But The Coup is great. They're a guaranteed funk/soul/hip-hop party.

morello said he was going to come back next year during his nightwatchman set. he is definitely in to it and i bet if the opportunity for him to come back and play for a day is there then he will take it.
i saw the coup in 06 when they opened for les claypool. they are funky as shlt and and boots is off the hook. they brought the house down and then les buried it 20 feet underground. one of the best shows and by far the best opener ive ever seen. if les is in the last round of additions i would hope he might guest.

The Coup was definitely one of the best sleepers at Coachella last year. I thought they kicked the crap out of the roots. To me it seems like the Roots has strayed away from hiphop and are more of a band now. THe Coup gets it funky. Heres a clip i recorded from Coachella last year

Boots and Galactic were effin AWESOME at VooDoo! One of my fave sets!! ;D Can't WAIT to see Boots and the gang at 'Roo! Was SOOOO excited to see them added (even without my Tommy who will be in Europe with Rage...now THAT would have been THE EVENT of Roo for ME! ) but still....this is one I WON'T miss unless its against SOMETHING INCREDIBLE....
For those not familiar with Boots and gang...check out "Everythang"....from "Party Music"....one of my personal faves....or "We Are The Ones" from "PicK A Bigger Weapon"....if you need some help PM me... Some of the guys from Jurrasic 5 and someone else also guested with Galactic at VooDoo and all of them with Boots did "Everythang" as the closer....TOTALLY AWESOME!!! ;D
