that i did i was just excited and wanted to get the new thread up quickly so there were no duplicates. Karma for you though! So what are the overall reactions to these additions?

I'm interest in this section of The Coup's bio on Bonnaroo's page.
"Backed by a stellar band that includes Audioslave's Tom Morello, Dwayne Wiggins, and veterans of Parliament-Funkadelic, the Gap Band, Toni! Tony! Toné!, Jesse Johnson, and Frankie Beverly and Maze, the sound is a little edgier on this record and the beats a little faster."
Um...for some reason when i bring up the Bonnaroo home page I don't see any new additions. I of course believe all of you, but that is weird that I can't pull it up on my computer.
Close your eyes. Picture a convict. What's he wearing? Nothing special, baseball cap on backwards, baggy pants... he says something ordinary like... 'yo, thats shizzle.' Okay. Now slowly open your eyes again. Who are you picturing? A black man? Wrong. That was a white woman. Surprised? Well, shame on you.
I find the title of this thread to very mean spirited I mean bonnaroo already blew coachella out of the water aside from aphex twin, but now your just rubbing it in

My reaction is BLAH! I guess because I am not familiar with any except Stephen Marley, and because I just want Muse, Black Crows and TMV

not to be a debbie downer or anything, but you'll be disappointed with all additions if you're waiting for them
i'm putting money down now that money mark will make an appearance during jack johnson's set.....as for tiesto, eh, i think its a bit over the top, imo.....rogue wave is going to be awesome, im excited for that. i haven't heard anything from the wood brothers, but i'm sure they'll be good as well
i too was intrigued by the coup being backed by tom morello, dwayne wiggins and all those other guys....perhaps we'll get an appearance from tom...woot

My reactions:
tiesto - * stephen marley - YAY! Newton Faulkner - * Money Mark - * Rogue Wave - heard the name, more research required The Wood Brothers - YAH!! The Coup - bio sounds very promising
Really I don't know of any of these acts, save for Money Mark (that's cool, I guess) Tiesto (ugh, I despise Tiesto... just not my type of thing) and Stephen Marley (once again, not my thing.).
I'll check these artists out in the coming days, but as of now, I'm underwhelmed. I wasn't expecting anything huge, but I'm happy with the line up the way it was last night, before the announcement. The Coup seems to be getting allot of good reactions, so they're the first on my list.... The Wood Brothers, I've heard of... and something makes me think I should be very familiar.
Rogue Wave, I have no idea... or Newton Faulkner.
Let me do some research and get back to this topic...

Perhaps this is why RATM is relatively inactive in June...
