So after listening to the epic 2 hour Jacket NPR stream, I am finding it difficult to fall asleep. Any recommendations for an album to help take you off to dreamland?
I'm listening to my usual stand by, Through the Sparks' Lazurus Beach, but it's not cutting it tonight. Help me Inforoo! You're my only hope...

ha, I'll never forget the time I came back to my room late one night freshman year and my roommate was assed out to some Tupac. I couldn't stop laughing, really. ;D ;D

I've got a bad habit of needing a tv on to fall asleep, and I never set a sleep timer...which I'm sure is no good for my tv, dvd player, or myself...so I usually put on a movie to fall asleep rather than music. and for this I recommend:
underworld lord of the rings trilogy any kind of anime, but especially something with dreamy dvd menu music...
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."

I lay in bed every night with my headphones on. I don't have an iPod or MP3 player because I've gone thru 2 that have broke but I listen to a CD every night and most times I don't want to fall asleep because I want to listen to some music and I've gotten in a routine of this. Here are some of them that have been more recent:
Bob Dylan Neil Young Grateful Dead Jack Johnson Plant and Krauss Ryan Adams Wilco String Cheese Incident My Morning Jacket Bela Fleck Sigur Ros Arcade Fire The Shins Polyphonic Spree Guster David Ford Ray Lamontagne The National Jose Gonzalez Band of Horses
and I generally try to either stick with something newer to me or a band I might be going to see soon or as always, anyone who's playing the upcoming Bonnaroo

Pink Floyd is music I have always found very relaxing and when I was younger I always played it to help me sleep at night. I even played it while I was giving birth to my daughter because it relaxes me so much

I was gonna say this - Pink Floyd - Momentary Lapse of Reason
Oh and I could not answer this way early this morning because I was asleep - and did listen to Pink Floyd to sleep to last night
