That would be awesome. He is #1 on my must see list. I wish I could go see him and Paul Simon in NYC in April but my wife will be 9 months pregnant so that probably won't happen.

David Byrne was an awsome set in '04. Would absolutely love for a return appearance by him. Of course, there will never be a talking heads reunion due to EGO!! Back in '83, when the police broke up after syncronicity, I was certain that would be the last I saw of them as well.
Said it several times before and I'll do so again: would love to see David Byrne at 'Roo! And of course a TH reunion would blow my mind, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
A pleasant surprise in 04. I stumbled through the mud to catch a little of David Byrne and stayed for the entire set. I was blown away when he sang a ballad from the 1930's in Italian! Nice mix of TH standards and a lot of solo material. A great Sunday afternoon show to escape the misery of the mud. I remember after he left the stage the sky opened up and it rained harder than it did all weekend. Great Memory! I would welcome David Byrne back he will always have a place in my Bonnaroo heart.

I'd really like another chance at David Byrne. I blew it in 2004.
ME TOOOOO. Our crew(I was the only one with tourhead experience) decided to bail because of the rain by Sunday.
I can see how some folks really love the Talking Heads, but in no way can I understand that one would ONLY want to see them and not Byrne solo. I have been to thousands of shows, and I believe the David Byrne solo show I caught back in the early 90's, was THE BEST single performance I've ever seen. I mean, from Talking Heads to Solo world music to full horns to a capella. It included maybe 4-5 costume changes, from the pink hairy suit to Slim Goodbody. I salivate over the chance to hear his new endeavors.
BamaDancer-not hating, but I challenge you to listen to UH-OH or Rei Momo, or even something as beautiful as The Forest, and explain what is not to love. I can account for different tastes and whatnot, but this man reeks talent !!!
