But, I have not listened to her album , I've just heard her sing a few times, so I probably shouldn't pass judgment, yet.

yeah I tried to go to the one in Asheville in 06 and tickets sold out within a few hours of going on sale. A friend and I played with the idea of going into the seediest bar we could find in Asheville and just hang out hoping Waits would come in....we assumed he was a fan of dive bars haha

Like most people, I haven't heard a single track from this album. As bad as her voice has been the few times I've heard it, I'll have to give this a listen. The idea of Scarlett Johansson singing Tom Waits has me intrigued to say the least.

Plus, even if her voice is shite, the studio equipment these days can do wonders
