Am I the only person who is annoyed and embarrassed that Bonnaroo couldn't get the real Led Zeppelin, so they got stuck with this less than average cover band? I mean, the music is great, almost exactly the way the boys of Led Zeppelin played it. But this female singer's voice just annoys the hell out of me, she sounds like some drunkard at the bar on karoake night.
^^Ah she's not that bad. I saw them at Voodoo, it wasn't that bad. The guitar playing was rather impressive although she did have to slow down some of the solos a bit, she hit pretty much everything right on cue. It was nice.
^^it was an enclosed tent, with one small opening. It was not very big. They were quite a good bit of people crammed in there though. In relation to Bonnaroo, I'd say it (well considering I never got to go inside the Jazz tent) I'd presumably say it was that size, but like I said I never got to go in, just looking from the outside. Well, actually looking from the outside of the Jazz tent, it was smaller than that. But just a bit smaller.

Oh come on, they are booked to just poke fun at everyone who spread the Zeppelin rumors. Enjoy it for what it is, I think it will be a blast. I hope they open the festival on Thursday night! They will probably be playing in front of the largest crowds to ever to show up for one of their gigs, it should be fun.

I believe pollstar has them scheduled for Sunday (same day as Plant & Krauss), and as far as the largest crowd, they played to 40,000 in times square. Should be a blast, and I'll be there just in case Plant decides to drop in.

I'm sure you're not the only person, but I don't share your view. I don't feel embarrassed or annoyed and I'm not sure why anyone would. I've never heard them or seen them, but I might check it out if there's nothing better going on. I'm sure it will be an entertaining show. If you can't see the humor in Bonnaroo having LEZ Zeppelin perform maybe you're taking this all a little too seriously...?
