All I have to say is that I'm over $500 invested in this year already (airfare & Roo tics), so I better see some quality additions SOON!!! I'm beginning to think that maybe Roo is trying to get some extra money this year on a not-so-good lineup. What do they care...I'm sure they've already sold more tickets now than they did this time last year based on a bogus Zeppelin rumor. Well look they got my $250 on the morning of Feb. 16!!! Sorry for the negativity guys/gals, but I need something better than what we've got already. Anyone else feel this way!?
why would you spend so much money on something you arent even totally sold on when you buy it? i bought a ticket because the bands that are listed now are worth more than $250 for me to see already. anyone who bought tickets based on the grounds of potentially seeing led zeppelin is not very realistic.
Awe man...I went last year and we were so sold that as soon as the plane tics were available and cheap we bought them before the Roo tics even went on sale! Was locked in automatically and like a lot of us I was bummed about the initial lineup announcement. Maybe slightly because Zep wasnt on there. I'm starting to get excited about the headliners and would I go to another Fest if I could....."F" NO!!!!!!
1. The line-up is awesome as is....no way I'll see everything I want to even if they add nothing. Last year I slept 4 hours a night...never ate at the campsite(after we left in the morning)...and still saw only 30 acts...out of 150....that's only 20%.
2. The line-up we have now is about 70 acts shy of last year's #...figure 20 of those are Jazz tent...30 are Cafe....that leaves 20 acts for the main stages/tents...and a handful of those are Wild Mardi Gras Indians type acts...point is, there's not a lot of big stuff left.
3. The line-up is awesome....did I mention that?

If someone can give me a reason why Ryan Adams has never graced the farm with his presence, I would love to hear it.
I hear that he has a fear of bobbleheads.
what do you mean by "a fear of bobbleheads" ? only thing bobblehead i can think of is a female who gives promiscuous fellatio, and i dont see ryan adams as having a problem with that.

I am looking at my email from last year...there wasn't a serious add announcement until March 28th, over a month after the initial lineup...so I wouldn't start holding your breath just yet.
It was, BTW:
• Ornette Coleman • El-P • David Bromberg and Angel Band • Flight of the Conchords • The New Orleans Klezmer Allstars • Yard Dogs Road Show
and aside from the cafe shows, I think that was it.
