My first roo show was Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra for 30 mins or so until MMJ started to play in a tent at Bonnaroo 03. What a great way to kick off what will soon be 6 years at Bonnaroo.

And I feel you on Sam Roberts, that was an effin great show last year. I'd like to see him come back.

Sam Roberts was my first 'Roo show too and yeah, what a great way to kick it all off. By coincidence I met someone in the crowd who was also named Sam Roberts, so I got him to hold up his ID while I got my picture taken with him, the "real" Sam Roberts playing for us in the background
