Hello. I just wanted to give everybody a little heads up....
If you want to know the day to day schedule for this year check pollstar.com 2 or 3 times a week. Pollstar is updated everyday. That is probably the most accurate day to day schedule out there.

I would argue that the inforoo Unofficial schedule is the most accurate day to day schedule out there. As many of us check pollstar everyday, and whenever it has new info, we post it here. In addition to pollstar, many of us comb artists' websites/myspaces, as well as media and news outlets for other info pertaining to the schedule. A brief glance at the Unofficial Schedule thread shows all of the pollstar info, plus some stuff pollstar doesn't have that was pulled off artist websites.

There are bands on pollstar that are not on on the inforoo unofficial schedule.
Already the first page of that thread was folks saying stuff that band's websites and myspaces were saying that immediately contradicted the unofficial schedule on here so i dont trust it.
I still think pollstar is more accurate. Bands' labels, management, and booking agencies give pollstar info to update it. That sounds tremendously more reliable.

The point is that if you read the threads you already know that we DO check pollstar. Even pollstar's info changes regularly (ie - Willie was one of the first on that site, now he's gone).

I agree with you Les. People get crabby on this board if you say something is better or more accurate than this board. There is a lot of garbage to sift through to get any truth on this board, just by the vast numbers of people who add there imhos. Message boards are great for information you wouldn't find elsewhere, but pollstar is king.
alright thats enough bickering kids....he was just pointing out pollstar, some people like myself, didnt know about pollstar for a while so there was no harm there, and roo detective all you said was that our schedule was good, but because people check pollstar (but also other sites) so in the end you are both talking about something you agree with

I just want to get the facts straight. I agree that Pollstar is a good resource, but unless you are checking pollstar incessantly, you won't find anything on there that isn't on here. When someone makes the claim that pollstar has information we do not, I'd like to see it. Frankly, it doesn't exist. Every artist listed on Pollstar for Bonnaroo is also listed on our Unofficial Schedule. You don't have to read every post that everyone makes, and it is true that some people have made contradictory or uncorroborated posts over there. However, everything in DirtyJerzee's initial post is updated with current info and links to all the sources; anything uncorroborated or contradictory isn't included. Simply read that post and you've got all you need to know . . . from pollstar to artist homepages.
