Ummmm I had never heard of this guy Jake Shimabukuro until this most recent episode of Conan O'Brien. Apparently he is some kind of Ukulele prodigy . . . he did a version of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' that was absolutely jaw dropping. No band, not even a drummer, just him and an f'ing Ukulele. Please, please add this man to the line-up.

He was on Conan the other night? Damn.

Anyways, I think he has a high chance of being at Roo this year, as I stated before, he's playing in Chattanooga at the Riverbend Festival, and superfly said that they will be co-operating with Riverbend to share a few artists.

Apparently him and Bela Flec get along great as well.

Yes! His performance on Conan last night was stunning. Conan was so excited... he shook Jake's hand and said something about it being his favorite thing he's ever seen in that studio.
