so kanye had daft punk at his grammy performance, what about at his bonnaroo performance? has anyone heard any rumors regarding daft punk and bonnaroo?
daft punk would be fun, never seen them and im a fan. kanye on the other hand, ugh, such an arrogant whiny bastard. although i hear his set is glow in the dark...soooo...being that my mind will be altered...it will be cool.
daft punk would not come all the way to manchester for kanye west... they are way to big for that. IF roo could get daft punk, they would certainly play their own HUGE late night set, if not headline. however, we r pretty much techno-free thus far, so im sure they have SOMEBODY in mind that can rock the ones and twos til the sun comes up... if roo can pull it off, im all for it. wouldn't hold my breath though.

I was thinking this yesterday. How awesome would it be if Kanye was finishing off his set and then Daft Punk came on and played Harder Better Faster Stronger with him and then played their own set?

Please, please, please Bonnaroo, pay what ever you have too so you can get Daft Punk to play one more pyramid show and have it on the Which Stage late night. I would be so happy.
Also if Kanyes show is like that grammy performance, I would be more than happy to have him on a main stage on Thursday. I could just watch the pretty lights all night long.

I think it would be the only time where roo would have other bands playing at the same time as a band on a main stage at night. I really do not care for Kanye because he is an egotistical maniac, but he is at least a decent mainstream hip hop act, unlike so much of rap nowadays.

Just going by what pollstar and the unofficial schedule on inforoo says, and it says Thursday until I am told differently. Not defending Kanye in the least, just think it would be fun (and funner if Daft is up there with him and then do a full set in Sasha & Digweed played in last year.

What if kanye plays in rod y gab's spot? Thursday night at like midnight? That would be totally cool with me as it probably wouldn't have any conflicts... And it's glow in the dark tour so it'd certainly be dark!

My girlfriend and I have a theory that Kanye will play midnight and for the encore they reveal the pyramid with Daft Punk, play Stronger, then Daft Punk plays the next time slot (2:00AM?) after Kanye.

On the 2007 Alive tour while they headlined all their gigs, they didn't play the biggest venues in a lot of cities they were in. If you go to see Kanye West, Pearl Jam, Metallica, or Chris Rock(jack johnson....ehhh, not so much) - they will be playing the biggest venue around and selling it out if not close. that said, I'd LOVE to see them headline or play at all
