i couldn't get enough of warren's acoustic set at the sonic stage last year and i certainly can't get enough of his performance on the 'live at bonnaroo' disc...
im just sayin' put him back on the main stage and let him do it again...the sonic stage always gets too hot and packed.
Hey, Jude, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, Then you begin to make it better.
And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain. Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. Well don't you know that it's a fool who plays it cool By making his world a little colder.
When I first saw the schedule for last year and saw that he was playing in the Sonic Stage, I cringed a little inside... How could they put someone as massively popular in this setting in such a small venue... that's just asking for an attendance disaster.
Hopefully, he can be added as a solo artist, as previously stated, in a tent in the afternoon.
Allman Brothers all the way, man... that is my most anticipated show this year (so far... mars volta...)
yea, we went and watched that and it was just way too crowded. We stayed for the first song, and as soon as the interview kicked so did the claustrophobia and we skee-doodled out of that crowd fast.
I doubt Warren will play acoustic again this year (THIS YEAR IS PHIL BABY!), but he sure as hell will shred it when it comes time for the Allmans to take Center Stage.
Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes play in the Allman Brothers. I've seen the Allman Brothers many times and I have never known one to be there without the other.
Close your eyes. Picture a convict. What's he wearing? Nothing special, baseball cap on backwards, baggy pants... he says something ordinary like... 'yo, thats shizzle.' Okay. Now slowly open your eyes again. Who are you picturing? A black man? Wrong. That was a white woman. Surprised? Well, shame on you.

Does anyone ever come to the Christmas Jam here in Asheville? Warren Haynes and Gov’t Mule are also going to be here in may for the Asheville Music Jamboree.
This was a conversation between me and my girlfriend while Warren sang "Patchwork Quilt" Her - "Is this the song about the dead guy?" Me - "Uh no, this is a song about a different dead guy"
i'm really pumped for ABB. but i really don't want em on the main stage.
I hate the main stage when it's not headliner time....it's just so huge an impersonal...but ABB will def. be main stage....unless they're late night...which they won't be.
