I saw these guys at a record store in Long Beach this past week, and they put on a great show that was a lot of fun. I met the guys afterwards, and they told me that they were VERY excited to play at Bonnaroo, and I expect for them to bring their A game at 'Roo. If you havent yet, check them out, they have a great rustic americana/folk feel to their music, that sorta feels like you're in a smoke-filled bar in the middle of nowhere, drinking whiskey playing dice and poker with a bunch of vagabonds.

I missed them last week with DBT (no money!) grr but anyway that means Bonnaroo is gonna be that much more awesome!
Oh their new album (first ever in stores!) The Felice Brothers comes out tomorrow!!!! It has 5 tracks from their first album Adventures of Felice Brothers Vol 1. including "Frankies Gun!" i love that song, i love this band!
I have to say this is one of those bands that is much better live than recorded -- saw them open for DBT in Boulder last week (missed Denver) and I was pleasantly suprised.
Saw these guys last night here in Knoxville, Steve Earle's son opened up for them. Pretty good show, but it seemed really short. The show was listed for 8:00, but the first band (never caught their name) didn't start playing until around 10:00. Might have had something to do with it, might not have.
They've definitely got a fun vibe, the guy that said "roguish" is right (and it wasn't all the Dead Guys I was drinking). You can tell they're having a lot of fun. It'll definitely be a cool show, I'd imagine them playing a late show in the Troo Music Lounge if they are in fact on Thursday.
^^I think that show got cancelled. I was thinking of going down there too and when I checked the Durham date had been postponed. I am off to Arlington tomm. and NYC on friday. looking so forward to those dates.

This band is effin amazing. I love them. Arlington was a great show. Macarthy Trenching was the opener as well as Justin. Felice Brothers rocked the Iota. Tons of fun in my favorite venue. Nyc was a little different. We decided to hit a local brewery and I got um... a .. little sick so to speak. Missed the show and Telepath playing later in the night. But I will see em at Roo and now Outsidelands and I haven't ruled out APW either.
