not too sure about gnarles, i saw them open for rhcp early in '07, im not sure if it was the huge arena (sommet center in nashville), sound problems, or what, but i would much rather just listen to them on cd.... or just see a dangermouse set!

the sommet center is horrendous for concerts. it's a rule. thats what you get for playing a hockey arena i guess...

Mellon Arena is a hockey arena and Pearl Jam rocked it when I saw them there.

Unfortunately, since the motherquackers closed Starwood down, Sommet center is about the only choice we have for big-draw concerts. Probably why Widespread Panic is playing at MTSU instead this spring.
