These guys really jam out live. Also, if you download stuff look for the song "There's No F**king Rules Dude" (without the *'s of course).
but yeahh, ya gotta type Chk Chk Chk or Chik Chik Chik or something to that extent. It varies because no one really knew how to say it so they tried to spell it out how they wanted it said but there's all these variations on how to spell it, ultimately making the same sound.
You can call them any word repeated. The example the gave me was (Chk Chk Chk or Pow Pow Pow ). There is a name for that but I have forgotten. Fun dancy electro punk. You should look for the band Out Hud as well. I liked them a little better. They broke up recently though but the better of the two in my opinion.

In the computer world, an exclamation point is sometimes referred to as a bang, so the first time I saw their name, I just called them Bang Bang Bang.... I just recently discovered that there really is a band called Bang Bang Bang. I wonder if that's one of the reasons why they decided to choose and official pronunciation?
[edit] Oh, and check out !!!'s song 'Me and Guliani'.

I think Bang Bang Bang was the other one I was thinking of. And I don't know this for certain but didn't Bang Bang Bang change their name to American Bang?

WOW, I did the same thing! Haha I always used to call them Bang Bang Bang and now that there is another band called that I have to switch and it annoys me. Hahaha. Now I mostly say chkchkchk or powpowpow...or I click my tongue three times (which is sort of where the name first came from)...
And I'll throw in my two cents and say that people should listen to "Must Be the Moon," I've become addicted! Can't wait for the show~

The first time I saw Bang Bang Bang, I had to double-check the lineup to make sure it wasn't !!!. True story.

I now like to refer to them as "roo, roo, roo" just because I can and because they will be at the roo
Also I think their most complete album is their second album "Louden Up Now". The jams kick in and stay in the whole time. It really is hard to pick a favorite for me because the whole album flows and changes the entire time with no breaks. I really hope they have Ghostland play for an hour-hour and a half and then have !!! come on stage for one of the best late nights dance parties ever.

Born and raised in tha Boro'. I always knew that Murfreesboro, TN was somehow the center of the world and when roo came about, I knew it was true. It is starting to get too damn big though.

I do have to warn you before giving up on the studio albums. Their albums take awhile to grow on you, it did for me. I was very questionable about them until I gave it a listen a few times, and now they are a must see for me.
Try listening to the Louden Up Now album (their second album), I personally think that is their best album, and captures the whole band and their talents. I can picture them doing some really fun jams at roo.
Oh shit, imagine if Ghostland were to guest spot with these guys... . I may just start shaking.
