I know there are a handful of artists I would kill to see at Roo this year or any year in the near future, none of which ever get mentioned. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way and that's why I started this thread. I figured I would throw some names around hoping they might get some notice, recognition, mentions and possibly showup on a lineup sometime soon. If you have never heard of any of these acts please check them out:
The Rapture Living Legends DangerDoom Gorillaz(obviously everyone is familiar) Cool Calm Pete C2C Solillaquists of Sound Mr. Dibbs Morcheeba Jel 13 & God Handsome Boy Modeling School Soul Position (RJD2 & Blueprint)
and by far the #1 group I'd love for people to hear... People Under The Stairs. They could quite possibly turn anyone onto hip-hop.

I would think the Gorillaz could play a major festival, its the only place that could afford to pay about 60 artists to play at once. That 1 guy is not too far off left field. Must see show if he ever comes to town. KRS 1

that show you saw of the gorillaz in ny was at the apollo theater in 2005 i believe. it was a 5 night stand and they played demon days start to finish. most of the guest artists from the album showed up at the show. i think the only 2 that didn't show up were mf doom and denis hopper but he showed up the last night. i was at one of the shows and that show was the most impressive show i ever saw with the amount of people that were always on the stage to everyone that came on and off. getting the children's choir to come out and sing dirty harry was insane. however after that 5 nights damon said the gorillaz would never play a live show again and never record another studio record. we may eventually get a digital performance from them that will be outdoors simulcast with other cities but even that looks bleak now.

It will probably never happen, but Bad Brains would put on the greatest show in the history of Bonnaroo. Their guitarist, Dr. Know, also plays in Mos Def's backing band so that may open the door for a Black Star show.

Any other suggestions?
Man, i've been e-mailing and posting on bulletins requests for People under the stairs to bonnaroo for years now. They're pretty active when it comes to touring so i don't see why bonnaroo wouldn't give them a chance. maybe they just don't know about them.
They are always #1 on my list of acts to see. Damn that would be great for them to play bonnaroo this year!
Mr. dibbs actually played last year with el-p.

I am so fucking jealous. I would have paid unlimited amounts of money to see these shows..
