So far all I see is Sigur Ros and Ladytron. The Battles are kinda' electronic, but I'd consider them more math rock. I'd still check 'em out if you dig electronic music.
I was sad as well to see a lack of cool electronic acts this year too. DJ Shadow made my weekend last year.
I wouldn't call Sigur Ros electronic. My only real problem with this years lineup is the lack of electronic. I'm looking forward to seeing Ladytron and M.I.A. but I think that's the best we will get this year (not that they aren't both great artists).

kanye... late night w/daft punk.. that wouldn't be so bad. sigur ros is more ambient but i'll see that whole set.. one of the only sets i'm pre-planning.

If Daft Punk is at roo this year I would love for them to do their own set. Don't get me wrong, them performing with Kanye would be neat for 'stronger' but otherwise, I would dig their own set. I hope some more electronica gets added to the lineup or I will not have my late night party fix. Sigur Ros will blow my mind away though, they put on such an intense show - it is hard not to get emotional!

i agree.. bringing in an artist like benassi would diversify the lineup a lot. i'm sure however.. i'd end up with a late night conflict.. i prefer to walk around until i find a good tent with good music.. but sigur ros will have all my attention one night.

Tiesto ends his current tour in the Philippines in May. BT's free after the Ultra Music Festival next month. Same goes with Moby. And Crystal Method. And Rabbit In The Moon. And Armin Van Buuren. And Paul van Dyk. Chemical Brothers have a 4 month gap in their European tour that could easily fit 'Roo. Justice is clear after Coachella. Underworld's schedule looks clear too. DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist are booked in Europe thru next month, but then... who knows?
In short, there's a lot of quality acts available that could fill the vacancy.
I'd be willing to bet my toaster that Shadow and Chemist will make their way to Roo. at the very LEAST they are going to flesh out the late night/electronic lineup in the first one or two announcements.

Any or all of those, please. That would be awesome.
I know this is a bit off topic, but I was checking out bands for SXSW and Acid Girls are playing. They sound like Daft Punk mixed with a bit of Dan Deacon and a bit of old video games. Check them out, I know if you like Daft Punk you'll probably like these guys.
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."

I don't know how to feel about this. I've seen Cut Chemist solo once and Shadow solo once. Then less than a month ago I saw them together and was a little...disappointed? I consider each of them icons and I absolutely love what they do but this show had a $35 cover and was nothing more than a mix showcase with some mashups in between. They hardly showed off the skills they both possess and I doubt they would stray from the current routine of they played this summer.
On another note, I would kill to see some dnb. Dieselboy as has been mentioned, dara, ed rush/optical, high contrast, (maybe) even pendulum! If it's drums and basses, you won't hear me complaining.
