Remember last year that pretty much all the lineup additions were leaked during the initial lineup?
I think we need to be patient. Bonnaroo clearly stated that there will be over 100 acts this year. The initial lineup only has approximately 70 or so. I think we are still in for a treat.

Ok, I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I think we have the large majority of the major acts that we're getting. Probably one, maybe two additions, of about 6-8 bands total. The remainder of the bands will be cafe acts, and jazz tent acts. They include all of the acts on the farm in that 100. That's the way it's been every year.
I'm very pleased with the lineup the way it is, I'm not expecting much more (except maybe a little Bad Plus in the jazz tent).

I totally do not agree with you...
In 2006 i was literally doing backflips when i heard the additions. That year the additions were Oysterhead, Cypress Hill, Umprees McGee & Disco Biscuits late night set, Common, The Streets, Sonic Youth.

Yes, but last year, they almost completely eliminated the additions as we know them. Hopefully, it's not the case. I'd love to see a few more acts added even though at this point they will probably just add to the conflicts.
there are plenty to come. i just counted last year there were 94 acts that played on the stages and in the tents (counting the jazz tent), 32 cafe acts, 4 side show acts (bonna rouge) and 11 comedians. for a total of 141. right now we have around 70. so lets say 13 are in the jazz tent like last year. that means we have 11-12 artist additions left. plus all the cafe, side show and a lot more comedians because they said there are going to be 20.

I hope The Shins are an addition. Wincing The Night Away is one of the best albums from last year IMO.
I couldn't agree more. The Shins are the best pop group of our time, by far, and Wincing may be their strongest album yet. I love the Pink Floyd influence on it.

Agreed agreed agreed. I <3 this Shins, one of my top 5 favorite bands ever. I would love to see them as an addition.
ALSO, I NEED MY ELECTRONICA.
Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Justice, STS9, Ratatat, Bassnectar, Sasha, Tiesto, Van Buuren...come on, Bonnaroo! I want to party until the sun comes up!

Could not agree more. I need something to dance the night away.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
I definitley think we will get some good additions, last year thanks to our snooping the entire set was released ealry. I think last year you would have had acts such as SCI and the Roots as additions if the whole list hadnt leaked. Obviousley they have stepped up their game a bit this year to keep us from finding everything out.
Well for one giant group we still need the Cafe stage lineup. I'm always jazzed for that; hell, that's how I found Dixie Dirt and The Whigs and saw Bare Jr. in past years...
i was listening to sirius 17 jam_on earlier and they said that bonnaroo announced lineup and pearl jam, metallica and jack johnson were headlining. odd he's headlining coachella, bonnaroo and there's speculation about all points west. he is awesome though.

Does anyone recall what the additions were last year? I know Superjam was the last one, and I'm pretty sure Ornette was, but I can't remember anything else.

More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, but fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for any more big announcements.
“I don’t think you’ll see (any more) major headliners,” Capps said. “We never have our complete lineup locked down, but we’re further along (this year) than we’ve ever been in the past.”

Yeah, and Metallica wasn't headlining..... That also just says major headliners, moe. wouldn't be a 'major headliner'.
Bonnaroo is being sketchy as HELL this year so i don't believe damn word that comes out of Ashley Capps' or Superfly's mouth!! Hell we could see 25 more main additions not including the jazz abd cafe stages. I'd like to see some more of the "experiments" come to the farm: Detroit, Harlem, Philadelphia, etc.
And Disco Biscuits were said to be confirmed along with Umph and Avett so i think we can count on them. And why the hell is Little Feat so far down on the list?!?!?!

Fukit, there are already more bands I want to see than time will allow. I love the fact that Metallica will be there, so I can take a nap. I'm all about diversity, but nobody likes everybody.
