The most underrated band in rock n' roll history finally makes their long overdue appearance at the greatest music festival on earth. There will be those who say the band is not the same without their fallen leader Lowell George, and they are correct. But believe me when I tell you that these cats still jam out!!! A truly remarkable band, cannot wait to see them!
I saw Little Feat at the Jam On The River in '02. It's true that it's not the same band without Lowell George, but they're still awesome. I'm hoping for a nice afternoon tent set. ;D
Yes! I'm a huge Lowell George fan, but I am really looking forward to seeing them. They've performed at lots of fests I've attended in the past, but I've never made the time to see them. Can't wait!
my parents are HUGE little feat fans, so i basically grew up listening to them. i've wanted to see em for years, just never got around to doing so. this is definitely a wonderful addition to the line up!
sitting in traffic waiting to get in the gates last year, i must've listened to waiting for columbus five times. PERFECT roo music ;D

Because they are the most underrated band in the history of rock n' roll. The general population simply don't know about them or give them the love they deserve. But hey, their loss and more room for us to boogie down.

Hot Tuna played ROCKED last year from 2-3:30 on Saturday in the Other tent... wouldn't be surprised if Little Feat had the same slot this year, what better way to begin the perfect ROCKYOURASSOFF Saturday?

I was at Tuna last year too! That's where I was thinking Feat would play. Especially judging by how far down the lineup they are. They'll be in a tent in the afternoon, and so will I. ;D

... and why, by coincidence I suppose, do I feel like I'll be standin' right next to you... wonder if I was last year?

Who gives a crap about what someone looks like - I guess, unlike some, I focus on what they sound like, and Casady is absolutely an innovator and still rages on the bass.

Do you guys think anyone might sit in on the Little Feat set, or perhaps that some Feat members might show up elsewhere throughout the weekend? Could make for some intrigue. I know Bill Payne and Paul Barrere toured with Phil & Friends awhile ago. And I would pee myself if Levon Helm and Feat merged for some magic. All three Feat shows I've seen have featured at least one Band cover, the best being an encore of Rag Mama Rag.
